Proposal to Make 1 Gem “Donate Now” a Permanent Option

I’m not sure about anyone else, but prior to the current 1 gem event I never used the donate now feature. It was simply not worth it to waste the gems that I have bought/earned just to donate high level troops to some schmuck that can’t use them correctly anyhow.

However at a cost of only 1 gem, I figured what the heck. As the week+ rolled along, I realized that my gem count was down about 300 gems. It is this type of micro transaction that keeps SC rolling along. I would say that about 50 of those gems were earned and 250 were purchased. It may not seem like much but SC just made $2.50 off of me that they normally would not have.

When extrapolated over 100 million users, that is a HUGE sum of money to make in 2 weeks.

Did anyone else use this feature as much as me or am I just a sucker?

In our clan the 1 gem donations have gone up as well. No one ever used Gems to donate otherwise.

I used this feature until my gems were completely gone! If this event was still around come pay day, I would definitely drop $5 or $10 on gems just to have them on hand for quick donations.

Hi Maurice,

I used the feature but only with gems I've accumulated over the years. I wouldn't purchase gems to use this feature personally.

I expect SC make quite a bit from the donation feature in its normal fashion so I don't expect the 1 gem to be rolled out permanently.

All these 1 gem events have however been very good for the game and activity and I expect we will see them in future events.

I agree. This feature is really cool for any type of clan. Personnally, I only use the 1-gem option for heavy troops such as Drag, Edrag, pekka, golem... for other troops I still wait fort the training but I'm sure it would be a very welcomed feature if it would be permanently added

We ran several wars and every time the defensive war ccs were filled in less than 5 min. I know I’m not the only one. Seems like a no brainer to me. I’m certain SC can track this. Hopefully it is QoL change in future update.

i fully agree, because this event pushed members to give more troops, even if we don't have the cooked we were using the gem to give troops and it was a nice feature

This might help smaller clans to donate faster.

I hadnt used the donate feature before, but it is brilliant at 1 gem. lifesaver for donating siege machines too

Not only smaller clans...we are a clan lvl 15 and 46 members, and it was so helpfull for us...usually if you are at legend or titan league etc...you will have an army based on bowlers, miners and so on...when low level players come and ask for maxed drags or a troop that you don't use, and you are rushing you prefere not to give to be able to rush more...with this feature, we were giving more troops cuz it's easy to give to the ones who are asking for troops that we haven't cook.
