Proposal to Make 1 Gem “Donate Now” a Permanent Option

I do not mean the barracks, spell factory, or hero regen boosts. I think they are good as is. I’m only talking about the 1 gem donation feature.

Would love to have 1 gem option as permanent part of the game. We attacked and farmed like crazy during this event

I think Supercell would be wise to have a "1 gem donation event" in the future that is separated from the TH12 drop. Naturally they saw a boost in gem and $$ expenditure related to the new content (as they always do) so it's nearly impossible to determine if gem spending increased due SOLELY to the update or if the 1gem donation had any effect.

A couple of months from now they should repeat the 1gem donate feature and see if they observe a bump in spending. I suspect they would as I, like many others here, spent more gems than I care to count handing out electro dragons and battle rams instantly. Ordinarily I never spend even a single gem doing so.

If they isolate the event to observe revenue SOLELY related to the gem donations, my hypothesis is that they would be making more money overall. Do the experiment SC, let's see the results

The standard costs are ludicrous, with only a tiny subset of the player base willing to do so.

I Have to Agree with you and you have pointed out an obvious thing that could improve clasb Experience in futures. I would hope to see the one gem donate Event as often as events. I think next they should host it for at least one month during Clashiversary. Pretty long but I believe players wouldn't hesitate Consuming their gems in small amounts.

Agreed! I never used it before the special event. Spent at least 300 gems during the event, probs more..
