But one issue with the daily challenges is that,
it might be possible to just enter an inactive clan or a clan that is "weaker" than you, and just win those challenges yourself lol.

So maybe it will require some requirement like such daily challenges is only unlocked for clans with atleast 40+ members ?

Else this will back fire and promote clan hopping instead lol.

But yeah, basically some events/activity for us to strive for on a daily/weekly basis.

I'd really like the following:

Clan Alliances
Co Leaders
Ability to move something to the front of the barracks queue and a "clear queue" and "auto queue" option
Ability to create spells in any order ie 1 x heal, then 1 x rage, then 1 x heal
Ability to save 2 base layouts and switch between them
New single player levels

That's all I want for Christmas... what is clan wars going to add to the game really? If you want to wage war between clans, join League of Clans!!

Clan wars is long overdue. All throughout 2013 players have been asking for this and over the last couple months all my clan mates have been fleeing to Samurai Siege specifically for the clan wars and the "gems" you earn for winning the each trophy race.

Hopefully the new majority shareholders of Supercell can take a page from Space Ape's playbook and steal (then improve on) their clan wars and gem award system which unfortunately and admittedly has the upper hand over SC at the moment.

Personally I don't WANT to play another game and, so far, have refused to download SS. I gave up consoles because they take too much of my time and I've found a healthy work/play balance with CoC. But as it stands CoC is sorely lacking that competitive element which creates another dimension for strategy, teamwork, and the socialization that comes along with it.

Clan wars should have been implemented a long time ago and will certainly be the focus of this update if they want to mitigate the massive migration to SS they are seeing. However, they sorely need to address some other glaring issues if SoftBank/GungHo is to avoid driving this once glorious game into the ground, including:

- Overhaul gem system (too expensive for the casual gamer, clearing obstacles is yawn, achievements are few and far)
- Builder lag (still? really?)
- Fix Valkyrie
- Fix overabundance of elixir (simply adding a new building that converts elixir to DE at like 100:1 would do the trick)
- Ability to use heroes while upgrading (also long overdue)
- New troop available at TH9 to help foster excitement/new strategy/etc
- The Finnish originality and creativity that made this game so much fun a year ago! It's nice to listen to the fans but SC really should be leading the way in new and original content imo.
