Good for you Chang. There is no real reason why clans that use "engineered" accounts shouldn't be able to find war, so long as the roster is common enough.Originally Posted by Chang405
They boxed in any account that doesn't have everything dropped, and also prevented any new accounts from being started. But they already said existing accounts will be as normal, so it should be business as usual. Good luck on your continued matching Chang. Hopefully, if they make any further changes, it doesn't compromise you guys too much.

In the past one response to those dissatisfied with engineers was "you can always do the same yourself". Now, this is no longer true. Does that make the game more fair? Or less?

It's always amusing to see some who were wanting help in one way or another only found out after the fact that what they received instead was ... less freedom. Works pretty much the same in the real world.

exactly now older school engineers have bases that are unavailable to newer players, that's truly unfair and now people whinning about engineering have a legitimate complaint brought on by themselves cuz im keeping my bases as is.
Dont worry, those of us with the "old" engineered bases cant use them as they (I) cannot get a war match. Takes many days to find a match. MM is so tight, two days is minimum search for opponent. Now I'm headed to day three of spinning.
While true that a beginning engineer is stopped in their tracks and people who want to start engineering have no chance of doing defensive engineering (well, not much), there are still opportunities enough to tinker around a bit. Think about offensive engineering, hero levels, spell levels.
Plus, there are still more updates to come, and if I understood the messages correct, a biggie still to come concerning engineering.
Maybe SC again puts something in place that will give engineers a bigger advantage or not, who knows?
