- KEEFS ARMY –
"Built to win."
- KEEFS ARMY - was started at the end of 2016 with the purpose of putting together a team of clashers from all walks of life and from all over the world who wanted to be in the best clan without using engineered bases and tricks to win. Let's be real, if you have to do that, you haven't really won, you've just cheated. I’m in no way saying that this is the best clan out there (because that would be stupid) but at our clan weight level when we war, we’re pretty unstoppable. No, we don’t have a perfect war record and couldn’t care less about that, a record means absolutely nothing in this game anymore since engineered clans came out. We do have an extremely active, knowledgeable, reliable, dedicated, and team oriented clan though which makes us a real threat.
"It's like, if Sun Tzu played Clash of Clans.”
Here at - KEEFS ARMY - we understand that a clan is more than just one player (unless you’re Chuck), we know that all players have different experiences and advice to offer to other players, and we win or lose as a team. We have certain rules for etiquette within the clan towards others and rules pertaining to war also.
Clan Rules :
1. We are an English speaking clan with members located mostly in the United States. That being said, we do have members located outside of the US as well but all of them speak fluent English. If a member cannot speak fluent English then they cannot continue to be a member as communication is a key factor in any clan.
2. Be respectful of your fellow clan members. This can be broken down into a lot of different parts and taken by everyone who sees it differently but the bottom line is if you think your actions could possibly offend another member then it's probably best not to do whatever it is you're thinking of doing. Don't get me wrong, we're definitely not snowflakes, but we're not intentional A holes either.
3. Elder and Co Leader are earned positions. If a new member joins the clan (when we have the clan set to "Anyone Can Join" and immediately asks for a promotion they will immediately be kicked if someone in a position to do so is on. Elder and Co Leader are also positions that can be taken away if necessary. As with any promotion, you are required to perform the duties of the new role and if you cannot then you will be replaced with someone who will. Both positions are earned by trust, not only of the Leader and Co Leaders, but also of the Elders since sometimes clan votes are taken for promotions.
4. We are a war clan so we do take war very seriously. WE DO NOT ACCEPT NEW PLAYERS DURING WAR (though if you’re worth looking into someone will send you a friend request and an invite once war is over). Every so often when we open the clan to new members or invite new members we will have a “weeding out” war in which we assess the strengths and weaknesses of the newcomers to see where, and if, they fit into our war strategies. If you have any questions or concerns about the war strategy for any war please do not hesitate to reach out to someone.
5. War base layouts should be an actual war base layout and not a home base layout. We do understand that for lower levels there is a learning curve surrounding this and we will take whomever we need to under our wing as much as we can to teach them. Please understand this is not an attempt at “I’m right and you’re wrong” but more of “We have a lot of combined experience and would like to give that knowledge to you.”
6. Donations are expected no matter your level or the level of your troops. The only time we care about the level of a donation is during war when we obviously want max. The only other time that we care about donations is when the wrong donation is given. For example: a clanmate asks for a max dragon, but is given giants to fill the request. That person who gave the giants is wrong because a dragon was requested, not giants. We do understand that mistakes are made and if you take responsibility for the mistake then we can understand and all is good, but if you completely ignore the fact that you just donated wrong, chances are you’ll do it again. Giving the wrong donation will not automatically get you kicked but it will definitely shine a spotlight on you that you don’t want.
7. We are a clan of adults, mostly, and those of us that are not adults are mature, respectful, use common sense, and are just all around awesome people. We look for adults, but we also accept “young adults” if they’re worth it. Like I said before, we’re not snowflakes and there is no “safe space” in this clan. If something needs to be said, or someone called out, or something else along those lines, it will be addressed in the nicest way possible and if it offends you, well, we’re sorry, but “it’s just business, nothing personal.”
8. When you log into the game please go back in the chat log and catch up on everything that’s been said since your last login. We understand that it can be time consuming to do that, but we also talk a lot about random things and also things of importance, so we like to know that everyone is on the same page.
9. Clan Games are optional, as are wars, but if you opt out of one you need to be active in the other. There can be exceptions to this rule but those are few and far between to be honest. We do have certain people who manage wars and certain people who manage Clan Games and they usually keep an eye on these daily. If they don’t, KEEF does.
10. If you choose to participate in Clan Games you will be required to achieve at least a minimum amount of points (usually 500 – 1000 depending on the highest reward tier). Failure to achieve the minimum amount of points will usually result in being kicked.
11. And last, but certainly not least, IF YOU ARE IN WAR YOU MUST USE BOTH ATTACKS AND FOLLOW WAR STRATEGY. We send out war mails for each war stating what the war strategy will be. Failure to read and follow these instructions can, and most often does for newcomers, result in being kicked from the clan. If there’s no reason for you to use your second attack, you’re wrong, you can scout a higher ranked base, attack a base for loot, practice a war attack you’ve been thinking about, etc.
“If you got it, you got it, if you don’t, you can get it.”
We’re looking for active English speaking players. That doesn’t mean you have to live in the United States, you can live on an island in the middle of the Pacific and be a member as long as you speak fluent English. We’re looking for players who have a good grasp of the game mechanics already OR players we can teach. We look at every player who requests to join or wants to join individually on a case by case basis.
We no longer like to accept any Town Hall level beyond 7 that is rushed. So if you’re a rushed Town Hall 8, you might get in, but if you’re a rushed Town Hall 9, you definitely will not. Also, a lot of people in the clan have the ability to invite people to the clan but if you get an invite and you’re more rushed than you should be, expect to be kicked once a Co or KEEF goes through the list of new members. There are a lot of different things we look at when we decide if a player is too rushed so please, don’t let that keep you from joining (and besides, if you’re too rushed, you already know it).
We couldn’t care less about having a lot of Town Hall 11’s or 12’s on our roster unless they’re just straight beastly, meaning they SHOULD be a TH11 or TH12. Again, we’ll look at each individually and make a decision but unless you really should be an 11 or 12 you’ll get kicked. Even Town Hall 10’s need to be in decent shape if you expect to stay around for a while. I would go into detail, or make a chart like some people do, explaining what level your heroes need to be and all that for each Town Hall level before we accept you, but really, if you’re rushed, you know it already.
“And that’s that.”
If you’re interested in joining please do one of these and wait for either a Co Leader or KEEF to invite you :
