Hey try to reinstall coc.if the problem does not persist,try to clear the cache and data of game and reboot your device.

Yep. Samsung s7. Fine before update. Now crashes each time. Cleared cache, memory, uninstalled... still crashing

Okay so after i updated to Oreo the game works fine. Looks like you need to force the cache and data to empty in game as i have had to log in with Supercell again.

Go To:

Settings
Apps
Clash of Clans
Storage
Clear Data & Clear Cache

This should log you out totally so make sure you know your username and password to get back in before trying it!!!

p.s. I am Running a Galaxy S7 Android 8.0 (i was on 7.0 when i started this post)

I tried everything mentioned above Samsung tab S2. The game keeps on crashing. This is really frustrating.
