Seems like you now have the advantage against an engineer....
TH12 definitely will, but that’s not nearly enough. Warisn;t just for the top-level players. Now, start treating these defenseless/lopsided games like everything was on the game grid and watch lower levels of play suddenly come back to life....

I kinda like the idea of just adding the L1 weight of every missing building onto the weight of the game. That would absolutely go a long way toward eliminating the problem....

I don’t see why everyone’s gameplay needs to be nerfed to within an inch of its life just to satisfy the war minigame. These draconian restrictions coming in are completely unnecessary if war were managed differently.

I’m really annoyed to see everyone punished for what only a section of the player base takes advantage of and what could also be restricted differently without hitting everyone equally with this rubbish. It’s not a step forward imo, it’s a step backward.

Not sure 11.5 will be a "real" thing. The TH12 upgrade will require that all defenses be dropped...and the main TH12 defense will be built into the Town Hall itself. Will be more of a TH11.75 now. Curious to see what if any "secret" changes to weighting are done. Next phase of engineering will be level 1 of every defense and not sure how matchmaking will handle that.

    Add another couple of rules:

    - Laboratory Level (not the troops) must be maxed, before a transition to the next TH level is possible.

    - XP is given for upgrading troops. (maybe?)

Otherwise, this looks like a viable plan .. and I'm sure the Rules of War need to change to something like that, otherwise Clan Wars will be dominated by old Engineered Bases.

The laboratory level is a good point there Affront.
    +1 to you.

Are you suggesting adding the war weight of missing buildings from the townhall below?

One day u could th snipe and the next day u couldn’t.

Im not going to judge sc and I honestly don’t let engineered get to me, I’m far passed being annoyed.
But if sc wanted to get rid of engineers they could. Nothing was as big nor ever will be in my book when they stopped sniping. It was the game and everyone liked it except sc. So it was fixed.
To me engineers aren’t bad enough for sc to step in. I’m a realist and this isn’t any form of complaining, but if sc wanted engineers gone they would be, I just hate hearing sc we are working on it lol if they have been working on it for years, someone isn’t good at their job lol

Yes, this has been suggested several times before instead of the "place all buildings before upgrading to next TH" solution.

It kills engineering and yet allows people to build bases the way they want in multiplayer without skewing war.

SC should have fixed a war problem with a war solution, not implement such a restrictive condition that forces everyone to play the same way, especially after years of preaching their philosophy of design and progression freedom.

    I agree with this one.

Ppl engineer to gain an advantage that isn't skill based...I don't feel sorry for them if they get left behind. There is a reason one way of upgrading is called rushing and the other is called "engineering", those rushed bases were doing "progression freedom"....engji bases simply game the system. The "war solution" is to fix engineering, no one would engineer if they didn't gain an unfair advantage.
