    I've written it many times in the past, but troops and heroes are two different things and should be treated differently.

    You drop a troop and you have to retrain it. Every time. No matter what. Even if it survives the attack. AND you have to pay elixir for the new troop. Every time. No matter what. Even if it survives the attack.

    You drop a hero and it needs to regen ONLY IF IT GETS DAMAGED!! AND THE REGEN IS FREEEEEEEE!! These are HUGE advantages that heroes have over troops!!

    There is a cost associated with every choice you make. Before you drop a troop, you consider its cost: is it worth the training time + elixir? Before you drop a hero: is it worth the regen time if it dies?

    Regen times are fine as-is. I might support reducing them to match troops' training times if the faster regen cost some elixir, thereby making the "use cost" of heroes and troops similar.

    It is nice to see mods supporting a good cause.

    Question is - has any of you forwarded this thread onto SC?

    I mean I know they get to see some threads and I also know Darian has probably no doubt also seen this thread. Question is, have the devs and are they considering the issue?

    I recall Darian mentioned a while back that they understood regen times where an issue to be discussed. Now the regen times are over an hour long which for most is just too long to wait when army and player is sat waiting....

    So are SC looking at this anytime soon? Like Monday morning is good for me... don't know about everybody else....

    I just don't get this at all....

    The game is about playing and attacking an opponent. If I have an army ready and I'm ready why should my heros not be ready? Makes no sense at all.

    When clouding my hero regens start the moment I hit the attack button. So I cloud for a while. Use my army, heros die, come back my next army is trained. Some of my hero regen is covered by the clouds. But then I have to wait 1/2 hour for the rest of the regen...…

    Clouds and engineering aside, hero regen is the next worst part of the game. We play this game to attack. And reducing heros regen time to the average army time would actually help SC because players would boost more. No point boosting troops if heros are taking a nap...

    So you like getting less attacks in at the cost of slower upgrading/trophy pushing/war attacks?
    PS: I would not spend elixir on regenerating my heroes.
