Me too. The best response would be “oops, that was a typo, we meant to say it was getting a buff” but if that isn’t happening then it would be nice to hear why they thought this was a good idea.

That has been said so many times, in multiple threads. It’s a mistake to nerf the Super Pekka.

It would be very noble if they said they heard community and decided to step back. What are we all doing here, after all?

In case they keep the nerf, I just feel sorry to see another troop going to the land of useless troops

i'm another one who has spent the last month grinding up the pekka levels - seriously not impressed with the nerf

It's weird why it was nerfed, because it seems many are asking for a buff. But nevertheless, it's not a huge nerf anyway, it's only changing the final explosion damage, which normally is already strong enough, a slight reduction will not really much, most of the buildings should be destroyed by it anyway even after this slight nerf.

But it is a nerf of a troop that needs a buff. This is not a big deal since no one used the SP anyway, but that is sort of the point. They are making a useless troop even worse.

I know for sure the last thing that will be maxed will now be the Pekka. I just wish it wasnt level 11 on my main account.

And LOL to 'its not a huge nerf". Its not, but its already on the edge of worthless. This pushes it over. Who is gonna pick Pekka over any other ground troop? Does anyone really think they are going into a match and saying "I like my chances better with the Pekka than giants/carts/barbs? No one.

I don't find the troop worthless, and I would also contend that it's not a matter of no one uses the SP it is that very few people have maxed SP yet. I agree with the fact that it could have used a slight buff, and I have been using max SP for a month or so now. But i disagree that SP is useless and I don't think this nerf makes it much worse, especially since 75% of the time the death explosion does no damage to anything.Only time the death explosion seems to help is if SP gets push trapped into the middle of the base at the beginning or when the last SP dies at the end of a match with no carts around it.

I have the SP maxed. It is not as strong as other max ground troops already and now they are making it weaker. I never want to rely just on myself as an average player, so I also look to the top players who have a choice of max troops, including max SP. They aren’t using it either. I should not have said “no one” uses it. I even myself use it from time to time just for something different, but 99% of players with a choice are going to find other ground troops more powerful than the SP and that is despite the fact that only 98% of statistics are made up.

I have been using max SP for a month or so now.

How many trophies? Try to use it above 4.5k. It's impossible to win with it. I've dropped 500 trophies today just to see if I can get a single 3 star. I'll never use pekka again because giants are MUCH stronger.
