    I tweaked it a little; what do you think?



    Features of Ver. 2.0:

    -now, the giants will clump together to destroy the cannon, then get sprung by the spring traps
    -more resources in corner, ensuring that gobs will stay there instead of walking into the Giant funnel
    -triple bomb cluster works in two ways: if the gobs take the funnel, they will be blown up by them, and if they use a WB to break open the corner, they will be blown up when trying to open the core to get to the gold storage
    -wiz tower overlooks "gob zone", but has too short of a range to be distracted by giants
    -more point defenses in Giant funnel, more splash in NW corner

    What is the purpose of spreading out the spring traps after the cannon? They are less effective when spread out. Wouldnt they be more effective in the corridor next to the cannon?

    Also wouldnt this base be vulnerable to hog riders?

    966souchou, you are TH7, right, so you can't give it a go yourself?

    I'll test v1 and v2 in a few days, and will post results here.
    I'm very curious how this funnel gonna work, hopefully I will be attacked from AD corner.
    Full storages, 2000 cups, early TH8. I'll do at least 5 defenses for each design.

    Good point about the spring traps. However, hig attacks will be much more likely to come from the top due to the greater percentage of defensive towers being up there. Once they are dropped the bomb cluster will take them out.

    I believe I can improve a few things, but I'll do first tests as is.

    I have 1 AD and 1 Mortar upgrading.
    I placed live AD to the bottom as a bait, placed the one that's upgrading in the core to not mess up the luring part.

    I'm offering max amount of gold and elixir, and fair amount of DE.

    I've got a base ive designed up and running now. Havent had any attacks, so ima wait till i got a decent battle log before I post. Unless of course someone wants to post for me and btw, nice work guys. Its looking good.

    I can't see those bottom funnels working for giants. you spam giants right below the camps and the will go after air defense in the bottom corner or after the cannons on both sides, and if the tesla is activated they might go after it so will try to break the exterior walls first. usually a giant attack always have wbs they will break through to the core easily.

    Also a giant healer attacker can take bottom ad with archers first, send few minions to set traps off and all those air bombs will be set of all at once. A big waste in my opinion, they need to be separated because one flying troop is enough to set them off

    Something I saw in this thread too (not implemented in the post above), does placing 3 giant bombs together work against hogs? I doubt it will. I think hogs are too fast for it they skip one or two depending on the direction they come from. I also noticed using my layout, attackers will almost always drop a heal spell where the giant bombs are being triggered. maxed heal spell is enough to make hogs gain enough hp to not get killed if the bombs are not set off at the same time. So three giant bombs grouped together have a very low percentage of being effective at killing hogs instantly.

    I think a bunch of WBs are going to be a problem if placed in the SE corner. Should some of the Spring Traps be by the Teslas to stop Giants that walk in their after the wall is broken?

    I'm not expecting to win or keep my resources with this very first setup.
    I don't like how spring traps located, don't like them divided for two sides, and I don't think funnels will work as they are.
    I don't think both giant bombs will do damage because of the way giants go around corners.

    But fails will produce valuable results, so I'll go for it anyway.

    Air bombs (red) are there against mass Balloons, not minions. Maybe it is a bad idea, we'll see.


    Hmm, I guess this base scare away weak opponents, because I still have not been attacked. With my "lame" test base attacks at this range were almost instant.
