    Lets start from a base that could defend against lvl6 BARCH and Giants, they are most common in this trophy range. Early TH8 get 2 or even 3-starred by such armies using conventional base.

    I'm sure you guys can tell what the purpose is hear, basic outward funneling to send giants through extra walls, just thought I'd put it out there to spark some ideas.

    This is what I've got for now.

    Complete anti-giant and 1/3 of anti-barch.

    After paying a visit to the "exposed" AD, the giants are invited to take a walk to the core.

    I'm going to pack most of the single-shot defenses in the area around giant bombs, just in case some giants will survive, to finish them off (they will be very vulnerable).

    I'll probably replace the top AT with 1 more Wiz tower in case there will be no giants but pure BARCH. It will make the hole visible though.

    Now I need some compact and reliable anti-BARCH that can fit in the area below gold. It will be protected by walls so giants will ignore it. Unfortunately, all setups that I tested before were reliable, but somewhat massive, and don't fit there.

    Ideas?

    P.S. spotted spawn hole near the tesla. That part will require some adjustments to plug it

    Ill will be working through the night tonight to find the answer jokes, but tonight I will b having a mammoth base design session to try and find some good anti-troop building/wall arrangements. Watch this space

    Well here it is...

    Here it is!! The noob base 5000 (like the name? Thought it was kinda funny lol)

    Here is a close up of (hopefully) where people will be lured to attack

    So. I kinda looked at what makes people attack a specific side (or at least me. And im not THAT special lol)
    1) resources (if farming)
    2) easy TH access( if cupping)
    3)lack of splash.
    So I incorporated this into my base. The bottom has very little splash (none, in fact) and minimal defenses. All the resources r biased towards the bottom, and it is a relatively short and simple route to the core. Or so they thought. Giants u can prob tell will b led down into the tesla/GB zone and killed. Gobs should be funneled off to the left, the complete opposite direction of the giants. However if they DO manage to get to the core, there is a WT, a mortar and lvl4 bombs waiting for them (which FYI one shot lvl5 gobs. Not sure about lvl6)
    Healer giant will fail miserably. They will deploy for the not-too-vulnerable-looking-for-a-trap air defense, the healers will promptly be spiked to death by the air mines, and even if they survive the funnel will lead them into the range of another AD. So yeah. Comments, constructive criticism, praise etc. welcomed. Thankyou for reading
    EDIT: also I purposely made the BK and CC lurable from the bottom, to make it more likely they attack from there. Now im done

    I perceive it as "easy" and totally attacking from the bottom.

    This my new base (most of it still not tested yet)

    I'm not sure I got the distances in the core set correctly, so I'll not be too surprised if giants will split and avoid spring traps. I'll adjust it based on replays.




    This is the first attack (I'm 200/200/500)

    He spotted the hole in the upper side of the core and attacked from the right corner.
    He was over-confident and didn't bother to check for cc troops, and 2 lvl 5 Wizards plus some archers more or less decided the outcome.



    If I'll switch mortar for the AT, it will hide the hole, but I still can'f find a good place for the right mortar.

    Got 1 more win and one loss.
    The loss is another attack from maxed th10, he had hogs and balloons, my base have nothing to counter these yet. His lvl10 queen sniped my TH, 2-star loss.

    Gained 18 trophies so far.

    Collected very interesting data about Giants AI, I will make a video tomorrow.

    Whats the purpose for upgrading tesla (bottom one)? It will only slow the giants, which is the opposite of what you need.
    You want giants to clear off from the archers and die as soon as possible.
    I don't think the single wiz tower placed as it is now can handle full BARCH.

    I'd like to have a look on your replays, looks very interesting.
