Made it completely asymmetrical. Decorations will be placed randomly to enhance "noobie" look.
Noobie look:
- BK placed at opening to be "guardian", slightly childish
- random walls
- asymmetrical, messy design
- randomly placed decorations
- one-cell design
- splash towers and AD is not triangulated
Features:
- 6-spring trap-walkway between two defenses
- semi-clustered G. Bombs
- NE sieve separates Barb/Gobs and Giants
-resource ring with Wiz tower in center
-elix storage placed right by mortars
Filled collectors might be better to attract people even more to NE. Tesla positioning will also need to be tweaked a little. Probably won't do super-well, but I'd like to see.![]()

You got the "messy" thing right, no doubts. It attracts weak opponents, good for the cups balance.
Other than that, I don't see it winning against lvl6 farming army.
I don't think that spring trap route will work, Giants don't like to turn if there are other routes available, and there is a nice short go around route on top.
Zigzag routes were never tested live, I was just playing around with different layouts in composer.
I don't see the benefits. I think single strip with grouping on both sides is pretty much guaranteed way to make 16-18 giants airborne. Also, takes less space.
Its more or less confirmed, I just haven't got attacked with enough Giants yet. The most I got was 12 raged giants, spring traps got them all.
Yes, strip is very obvious if done in the straight-forward manner.
But it can be placed between two compartments, or without walls in the center.

This is proven to work for giants coming from the bottom or the top, maybe we can use even less wall for shielding

But complexity raises exponentially, if we want to use same traps for giants and hogs, and save some gold, using giant bombs only if we absolutely have to (after all spring traps were activated).
I think we should build something simple and rock-solid for the start, and build more complex designs on top of it after tests will be done. It's almost impossible to build something advanced with so little experience collected.

Excellent thread, will have a good look at my own base design! It's dull in comparison!
Updated the first post with the pic of the actual base that I used to test different bits and gather information that preceded the creation of this thread.
I wanted a base that yells "3-STAR ME", and succeeded, the attacks were almost instant.
Too bad the baiting thing didn't worked at all.
