Why can’t we visit other groups Roadside shop

Ok, for a while now, if you click on another neighbourhood, you’ve always been able to click on an individual and visit their farm.........now the option has gone.......is this a glitch or is it a permanent ?

I don’t recall ever being able to do that

if you were able to at some time, I suspect it was a glitch. I certainly would not want another way for random farms to visit me.
