I have been 3-starred or well beaten by wizards and P.E.K.K.A with increasing frequency lately, this is probably due to my rapid increase of trophies to 1700, but I'm still wondering if there are strategies to defend against these strong troops at TH 7.

Traps like giant bombs and high level teslas with a good design are your best shot.
