SCID and Game Centre Friends Issue laugh 🤭

Hi Nick,

I finally started using SCID over the weekend. It works well. However, I just went onto my smallest farm and found that all my GC friends are now friends on it. In fact, it’s the same on all my farms. Every GC friend I have on my main farm is now a friend on all my farms.

This I do not want. My GC friends are fine but I keep my baby farms friend-and-follower-free for good reason. I didn’t post in bugs because I suspect it isn’t a bug - just the way SCID works. It probably makes no difference on the other SC games but it’s a potentially huge liability for HD players.

Can you please speak to the developers about it ASAP and see if they would do something about it? I would be very grateful.

The options I see open to me are:
1. Delete all my GC friends; or
2. Log out of GC.

Neither is tenable to me at the moment and actually, I don’t think that my logging out of GC affects my farm being seen by my GC friends. I believe that they see my farm even if I can’t see theirs. If anyone can think of another solution I would be happy to hear. sigh

BostonGirl, i started a baby farm & my intention was to keep it isolated from everyone but my main farm, I accessed the friends bar to go to big me& to my horror saw all of my contacts, I hid them but next time they were all back,,nightmare!

it uses the device’s gamecenter and Facebook friends and even the avatar.

if I opened my big farm on my old iPad, I would be friendless


in game book friends and friends friends and followers tabs don’t seem to be affected, except where in book it shows “social media” friends

Same thing happened to me. I hid my GC friends at my baby farm and after a while after switching between accounts, they disappear from my friends list. It just takes some minutes but it works.
Note: My husband (GC friend of my main farm) couldn‘t see my baby farm. So it only works one-way. Your GC friends can‘t see your baby farm.

Wussy, I went to farms on the devices I was using before SCID but the friends for the device I used SCID on were still on all the farms.

You can hide friends in the friends book, “other friends” social media
