I too have these problems. I posted about the background/return to game freezing in the bugs as well. That for me has been the biggest nuisance.

Gather crops-freeze game
- Does not freeze completely, but gets hung up
Leave game running in background, come back-freeze game
- This is a consistent problem for me. Particularly on my iPhone 7plus running iOS 11.3
Put townfolk in shops-freeze game
- Happened a few times so far
Open DD-feeeze game
- Had my game force close doing this a couple of times

Now I know what everyone is talking about. Haven’t had any problems until today. Have been playing the freezing game all day. What an annoyance. I think I’ll opt out of the derby.

Look nothing is going to be improved unless it benefits the piggy bank just gotta get over it and deal with the lag till next years next greatest update, itll be Billie, pay him 25 diamonds and he will call his wife maggie and have her come to your farm faster for double the diamonds

Is it getting worse or are we just getting more fed up with it? I don't know, but I've also had the feeling that it's getting worse. The lags seem to last longer now...
