Who loves the new game freezing feature that came with the update?
Gather crops-freeze game
Leave game running in background, come back-freeze game
Put townfolk in shops-freeze game
Open DD-feeeze game
Its just a new feature I can definitely do without. Yes I wrote support. They were totally unaware of the problem. Did I have too many apps open? Surely its the WiFi connection. Etc.

Game freezes for me when “leave game running in background, come back-freeze game” (have posted on bugs forum)
Fingers crossed none of the other freezing issues.

I think mine only freezes when I'm working my crop fields. Annoying, but I'm sure it'll be fixed. Last thing I heard, the team was investigating.

Contacted in game support of the issue myself. Told me I wasnt the only one experiencing it, and that theyd keep me informed, the team was also working on a fix. But as the OP said, I do indeed hate this so called game freezing.
This seems to affect most players and there has been tons of complaints in the "bugs and problems" section since right after the update.
I cant believe they havent fixed this yet. Only one maintainancebreak after the update...
Every update has had issues like this , but supercell usually fixes it within 1-3 days. Its now day 4 after the update .
Saturday now in Finland and I guess we have to wait til monday for a maintainancebreak to fix this?

This one has been around for a long time now but, for me, it is very intermittent.
I must be fortunate as I am not having many freezing problems. 🤞🤞
