This is correct. In addition, you can choose any email address you want to link your farm to SC ID. You don’t have to use the address originally associated with your account. This is also convenient because, normally, you would have to contact support to switch email addresses.

Since you already started the ball rolling with supercell ID, why not finish it?

register for a separate supercell ID with a different email address for farm B

this way you will have both farms safe and saved and you can switch easily between them.

Here's my second answer. I'm not sure why you would want to link Farm A with Supercell ID and then Farm B with Google Play. I would be confused about using two different systems to access my two farms. But here's the technical issue for you. Since you linked Farm A with SCID, you must use SCID to logout and load Farm B. I don't know how to load Farm B with Google Play.

And I'm not willing to risk losing my two farms by doing an experiment so good luck to you.

You click "Play without Supercell ID" after logging out from farm A. It will default to the last farm used that was NOT linked to Supercell ID. If it not farm B, you'd have to go to settings>applications, and "clear data" for Hayday. This will start a new farm, with the option to log in to Google Play and access farm B.

But, yeah, mixing SID and GP not a good idea. SID was clearly made to force-phase out GP.

i actually get around it using App Cloner. i have two Hayday apps on my phone, one using GP and one using SID. i will eventually migrate to SID; waiting for the kinks to iron out.

You do not say why you do not want your Farm B to be independent of SCID, but please do not take the suggestion of using an app clone. This could very well put both of your farms at risk as it could be a violation of the TOS.

Thanks for replies. i first attached baby farm with SCID , to see how it works. But I noticed that once u attach...u cannot revert back to using google even on another device. I didnt like this idea. So didn't attach main farm. Now I am stuck because moving main farm to SCID is not optional but compulsory.

I tried that but each time u need to do otp process one I play farm B without scid. Its not user friendly to do otp process each time even though I tick save id on this device.

If you have lost the ability to load farm B, I strongly suggest you contact support providing as many details as you can about farm B.

He's referring to farm A requiring an email password each time he get to farm B.

Again, AppCloner or any of the parallel account apps will allow SC and GP to coexist without constant otp verification. If you have a Xiaomi, second space works as well.
