In gaming strategy world there's no such thing as powerful offense without developing good defense. Going to war without proper armor/defense even you have full equip with weapons you literally making a death wish, but in COC it's the opposite it gives huge advantage. Make sense 😕

Loopsided bases right now do have huge advantage in clanwars because Offense > Defense. When your offense is at max and you sit at the bottom of the war line-up you basically have more chance to overpowered the opponent.

Multiple changes in the war MM algorithm couldn't stop or uplift how bad the war mm.

Agree with these comments. Only thing is, have an entire clan do the same, and every war would end in a draw. The offence heavy account is therefore a specialist, in that it relies entirely on the other builds within the roster, in order to be at an advantage. Only talking lop sided here. A well optimised account will have enough defence to look after itself.
So realistically, the armour still has to be there, only not worn by the attacking individual.
That being said, and at the risk of the wrath of the anti engineers. The lop sided player should need to be of the highest calibre, to make his inclusion worth the 3 stars he/ she yields.

In gaming strategy you learn the rules and base your offense/defense around optimizing them. Putting down infernos and or eagles does not give a positive return. This has always been an attavk more than you defend game. It’s how you build your base, it’s how war is.

Where you sit sit in the war map has absolutely no impact it is reflective of the perceived defensive strength. If you built a max defense base with only barbs you would be at top of map but you would have to dip.

We pretty much have the exact opposite viewpoint on this game.

Agreed with one small correction: "The lopsided player will be of more value if they are high caliber but they are usually worth the SIX stars they yield".

They can only yield 3 stars, they can get 6 stars.

This would be the hammer. SC always has the option to stop bases like mine. They have chosen to not drop the hammer for reasons only they know. I will say, in my opinion, the usefulness of the dless high offense is gone. The newer mm, no longer makes this an advantage.

Fair enough, I just wanted to highlight that they can more easily get 6 stars as opposed to the enemy team who is less assured of getting those same 6 stars. It is still an advantage and I don't want to see that advantage minimized or brushed away as inconsequential.

And if done well, like I think your base is, it isn’t all that easy for the enemy to get those 3 stars.
Contact SC here. Click here to see how trophies are calculated. My tips/thoughts on Legends here. My legends hope: 14 hours daily search limit to reduce advantage of account sharing; black clouds screen; Legends3 5000-5499 cups, Legends2 5500-5999, Legends1 6000+ and titans/champs canít attack Legends1 or 2 players; while in clouds let us watch war, donate, do FCs, base design. Make a separate PvP trophy ladder option for all, others found here.

And I agree with you Tosti, which is why I said they need to be high calibre players. A d/less will surely give away 3 stars. The high offence only gives the potential for 6 stars. If the potential is wasted, either thru error, incompetence, or attacking below the "critical area", eg. near the top of the map, then its inclusion is pointless, wasted even. We had engi last war, who used his attacks for mid map clear up. Imagine our relief. We lost in the end due to the clan pulling together to be as rubbish as possible lol.

They offer no information on war weight so we see a lot of rushed bases. People have no idea why its bad. Power potion just doubled the number of lopsided bases we see. I truly think SC should let people go back a TH if they want, and then start requiring defenses before upgrading. This will never happen though.
