But really, if you are going to celebrate 4 years of clan games with a memorable 4x loot bonus...

at least make it possible to *get* the 4x loot bonus.

exactly! A big part of the game is a endless massive search for loot. Then you read a x4 loot event to which you have no possibility of getting.......smh.

Under normal circumstances your loot would be 1.2 ish and now you get 3.6m which is almost 2.4m extra.

Better wording of the offer would have helped... and also some consistency in terms of loot overflowing or not. IMO they've been going so full on lately making the game easy that this feels like it was a mistake, and it should have overflowed.

We just won our war, and my storage was filled to the max, but our opponents also got a decent loot even though loosing. They get 4x loot, I get 2.5 as my storage does not permit more. Really something to be mad about, full storage after 2 war attacks.

You will only get what your treasury can hold.

So you don't consider yourself a winner for having your treasury maxed instead of say 40% full after a war? Can't you comprehend the fact everyone is a winner with this event. Everyone is getting a hell of a lot more resource than they usually would. EVERYONE!

Have to say poor implementation. No thought process. Or they are bluntly saying it in your face, "Go do your 1 attack which is worth doing twice and forget the second one". And People here go crazy and will argue like "come on your getting the 2nd attack's loot for free. Be humble and thank SC. They have reduced your burden of doing another attack" LOL

Just doing one attack in war and leaving the 2nd attack just beacause theres no extra loot for it may cause your clan to lose and hence you will get much less loot than what you would have got.
Btw I don't know about your clan but for my clan war win is most important.More war loot is always great but for us war is for glory.

Though it would be better if they had been more clear with event message like"Full treasury for winner and 4x loot of losers."

So the next time I decide to buy gems, say the $9.99 variety, supercell can just have the limits of my iTunes gift card, say $3.95 instead, but I get the gems right. I said I would pay $9.99 and supercell should be greatful for the $3.95 they get. That’s the logic behind the glass half full pushers in here.
