To the vast majority of people here, please do not insult people when disagreeing with them nor their argument. Please try to be rational when having disagreements and try to see and understand the other person's side. And, after that, if you think they are wrong, please explain politely why. Even if you are really annoyed at them, ranting or being very rude will not convince them, but instead make them more defensive and less likely to agree with you as they feel attacked rather than the premises of their arguments being questioned. Getting annoyed at one another will not get anyone anywhere

I find both Ajax and Kat’s comments to both make little sense. Also I believe the tone of Ajax’s comments are insulting. His definitive “THERE IS NO MISTAKE” is not the word of GOD ( or Supercell) as he is a mere mortal player like the rest of us expressing an opinion.

What I find truly disgraceful is the way Supercell has let these two fellow players handle all communication (with minor assistance from 2222 - didnt want to leave you out!) about an issue that clearly has excited a number of people. Where is Darien hiding as a small trash fire begins to grow?

I said yesterday, about 8 comment pages back, SC should have addressed it clearly/finally and closed the thread. This ongoing war of words cannot help SC’s image and annoying players, many of whom are paying customers, is never a good strategy. But I guess they think the success of the Battle Pass, raising CLASH revenue 145% to $27M over the previous week’s revenue (https://venturebeat.com/2019/04/09/s...s-revenue-145/) can overcome a small % of players feeling like SC lied.

If you can point me to any spot where my posts didn’t make sense, were insulting, etc., please let me know as that was never my intent. Players coming to the forums to post strong opinions should expect strong debate back by those who disagree, but should not expect to get insulted. (Typically, the very strong opinions back are in response to extremely strong opinions stated first. Usually, but not always, a reasoned fairly moderate opinion receives a similar response.)

As for leaving the thread open, as long as the banter back and forth isn’t too toxic, I think it is fine for it to continue. What mostly has happened is there is a debate, someone posts their opinion, someone else responds and that would be all, but then someone new posts their opinion too (often starting their own thread which gets merged in) which then rightfully gets responses.

I do not agree with the suggestion that SC should close threads where a debate is going back and forth. That is half the fun of taking part in a discussion forum like this, as long as it isn’t too toxic.

using "5x" and "win, loose or draw" statements in the events tab is illogical as simple as that.

i wonder why they did not go with 2x i mean why would they choose to get backlash with giving something for free? this simply comes down to carelessness to me.

5x for 5th anniversary (one multiplier for each year)
Besides, we can hold the bonus XP and more than 50% of players get the full bonus

everyone is jumping for the rewards. no one wants to argue logically. i dont want them to increase treasury i just dont want them to false advert. just give us 2x in future & avoid all the backlash.

for me loot is too easy. i could care less of the event but blatant false advert & silly arguments on here hav left me scratching my head.
