Will the clan castle storage be enough to collect the 4* war bonus event's loot??

Entitlement? What entitlement? People earned a 5X loot bonus but don't get it.
Should you not be able to keep what you earn?
There is no entitlement in believing/expecting to keep what you earn.
Also, those mentioning that we should be able to keep what we earn aren't all young people.
You're candy store analogy is actually false b/c the person didn't earn any candy...they're just told they can have as much as they want.
I already used this analogy in a previous reply: your boss assigns you a project and wants it done in a certain # of days. He/she promises you a $1,000 bonus.
You work your tail off and finish the project in the allotted time; thus earning the $1,000 bonus.
Your boss then hands you a $500 visa gift card and explains to you that the cards have a limit of $500, thus he can't give you the full bonus.
This is exactly what SC did last year & again this year: promises you a huge bonus, but you only get about 45-ish% percent of what you earned.
That is why people are upset; has nothing to do with entitlement.
Honestly, they should just call it a "full treasury" event and code it so everyone's (winners & losers) treasuries are full.
To do otherwise is very misleading.

Not a good analogy. Supercell is not asking you to work any harder for this 5x loot. You're not working your tail off. Supercell is giving it to you for free for doing the same exact thing you would do for 1x loot or 2x loot.

It's 5x for the 5th anniversary of clan wars. Last year they did a 4x bonus. It's also easier to call it a "5x loot and XP event" rather than a "fill your treasury if you don't hit a super low base but only if your clan wins and 5x XP event". Next year they might do a 6x event, and guess what, we're going to hear all of this complaining again. Or maybe Supercell shouldn't give any bonus?

While I do agree with you that we should be allowed an overflow, I don't think this is a very good analogy (though, definitely better than the other person's); we aren't exactly doing any extra work for it

People earned a loot bonus sure. However they did not earn 5 or 10x loot bonus. Any sentiment that suggests you deserve anything more than the regular war bonus, is a sense of entitlement, whether or not that sense is entitled.

They never promised to overflow your storages. And the war bonus still goes to your treasury. So any inference that a 5x-10x loot bonus would do anything more than fill your treasury would be over expecting.

I disagree. When has treasury ever been allowed to overflow?

It doesnt even overflow on purchased resources, as purchased resources go directly to storage, without even making a pitstop to fill treasury, where resources are better protected.

The irony of the situation is that supercell would have been better off waiting to celebrate the anniversary with 5x loot till after cwl. They would both give away less resources and more importantly deal with less griping from all the people hollering about the loss of potential resources.

What happens if the clan war leagues and the clan war anniversary bonus has made it change from x2 and x5 to x10.

What happens to the last part of the loot bonus go when the clan Castle treasury can't hold the moment shown in there.

it goes back to the generous loot gods who bestowed the extra loot on us in the first place.

Dont ever take a reward from the gods without being prepared to offer a sacrifice. This is how droughts happen.

i don't why they have done this at the same time as cwl.

With the new 30v30 cwl the wars have been a joke with some cans recruiting a clan full of th12. It would of been much better to delay the bonus until normal wars.
