Man, I've said that EXACT same thing in another thread about this topic. I'd much rather have the "free-loaders" in my clans than anyone trying to set a limit. It's a group effort. I'm glad to contribute 3000 points and let my entire clan enjoy full rewards. Why? Because it's a team effort. And, I may very well be the one in the next games that only contributes 100 points for some reason.
Almost every reply says the same thing but in different ways. You should've gotten a hint from them Op.
This thread is too funny. Over 100 posts which can be easily resolved in kicking members who you feel are "leechers" or leaving your current clan and go to a clan that don't have "leechers", Problem Solved. In my opinion, I'm glad that not all clans are able to achieve top-tier rewards, why should they? For members who only completed one event while the majority of members maxed out possible points then I feel they should be entitled to the same rewards, why? Because it's "Clan Games". The same concept applies to clan wars when someone snipes the townhall for "maximum rewards". When it's all said and done, it's "Clan Games" you work as a "Clan", therefore, whatever contribution someone may have, they are entitled to the same benefits.

I think it's a good idea to set minimum limits for achievement. However, I also think it's going to happen more often in the future (I only scored 1200 points in the last clan games) for several reasons:
- The preponderance of one-dimensional challenges (as a Legends player having a bin full of 1-hour challenges meant there were times where there weren't any viable challenges for me to take) I even had a few 8-hour challenges expire the clouds were so bad at times.
- With wars and life, grinding out 3000 points isn't always realistic. Especially when I'm lucky to get in one attack per hour in Legends.
- Worse of all the constant nature of clan games (2 days until the next one) has me not caring, especially when they're filled with dopey challenges like "attack titans" or "attack 1 level above you" or "attack with no heroes". It's getting to the point where I simply don't care even to get the free loot.
I'll always do more than the minimum because I don't want to be a leech, but I'm definitely not wound up about the clan games like I used to be (especially now that my castle is pretty much filled with the magic items).

Can understand frustration OP. One way to solve this is with individual points global leaderboards with better prizes attached. So you'd have no individual points limits. You can still collect clan rewards, but you miss out on the bigger prizes attached to placing globally (e.g. certain point tiers get certain rewards). Really hope they do something like this soon.
I get the same concept you talk about except for the fact that a th6 sniping a th11 will result in a failed attack 99% of the time resulting in no bonus. It would only work when the th is sitting outside. Removing 5 obstacles for 50 medals and getting all the rewards is far simpler.
As I have said in earlier posts, if SC gave us the "tool" to see the last one or two clan games results (as we do with Clan wars), it would help the clan leadership monitor the individual performance (without having to record each individuals "Games Champion Achievement" or getting someone to screen shot the points table as the games end)
Then, if you have someone permanently leeching it will be obvious to all, and the leadership can act on it (demote/kick).
We do the same demote/kick for those that miss the war attacks when green for war, or go inactive without prior notice re vacations etc. Both of these are easy to manage with visual indicators.
Personally I would like to see the optional GC reward threshold available (default at zero), I believe that clans who misuse it will soon loose players, clans that use it wisely as a carrot (not a stick) should not suffer and may see better contributions.
