This would be of benefit to the farmers, not so much to the pushers.

If people are complaining now about how low the elixir is after making the spell factory adjustment, why would you want to create another sink for elixir? The forums would go riot.

Every one SHUT THE F*** UP

    Sorry for the language.
If SC wants player's opinion on this, make a thread with a poll.
    Majority wins of course.
No use of whining if SC dont want you guy's opinion.
Let them decide if they want to make a change.

Who said SC didn't want our opinions. I think that's the whole purpose of the forums.

Forums are there for players to communicate whatever the matter which does include whining. No one is making anyone read whiny threads if they don't want to.

I think you'll find that SC in fact does value the players opinions. Albeit it may not be for the interest of every single person but as for the general population.

The reason for my inquiry about using Elixir for attack searches is to be in line with what SC has stated: "Elixir is now for attacking, gold is for upgrading and defending your village! We wanted to make that division quite clear!"

I would make logical sense that attack searches are elixir.

Which category would searching reside in?

To be honest I don't see searching as an offensive move as you can search for how little or as long as you want. I see it more as a fee as you don't make an offensive move until you place a troop on a base.
