I’m done with BH

It’s just got too hard, I am BH 7 trying to upgrade my last items before going 8, but with all the opponents I am placed against already at 8 there is little chance of winning and I have seen my trophies plummet from the 3900 range to 3400, when placed against an 8 there are too many defences and when they do their attack they have one more camp of troops and it’s hard to defend against the extra troops without the defensive hardware, it has started to get boring now watching loss after loss, so it’s goodnight from me.

you have seen first hand, what the extra camp does. Now upgrade to BH8 and get the extra camp, and you will win again.

It is next to impossible for BH7s to win when facing BH8s with the extra camp, so, the entire trophy ladder is in motion at the moment. BH7s are getting squeexed down byt BH8s that have the extra camp advantage. Who in turn are getting squeezed down by those with the MegaTesla starter Pack advantage..

I suspect that it is more the extra camp more than the extra defences which are hampering you. I went straight up to BH8 as soon as I had the gold as it is so much more efficient with an extra camp. You might also find it easier just dropping down into the 2k range for a bit until you have built your base up again and are ready to face those that have gemmed up.

Why are you doing this? It's common knowledge that maxing in BH is not encouraged especially if you are high in trophies. Upgrade your BH asap!

No need to drop to 2k, I've lost about 500 trophies to gemmers and living fine at 4300-4500 while upgrading new defenses

Then you are still good OP. Imagine the feeling of BH8 yet still get plummet from 3900 to 3400.

Anyone who says you need to upgrade the BH right away is lending weight to the opinion that the matchmaking is broken. Why do you have to upgrade right away? Because if you don't, you will be overpowered. If you do, you can overpower people and climb.

In other words, it is an exploit of a broken facet of the game.

Like giving out a 12 hour shield for putting your town hall in a corner.

Why was that one addressed and not this (a simple weighting of buildings within trophy ranges would provide better competition as one player won't have to destroy three extra buildings to achieve parity of scale at the onset)?

Simple reason...giving out a 12 hour shield for town hall sniping didn't lead to players spending money while a broken matchmaking system will see frustrated players toss gems at it.

If and only if you think BH7s should be consistently matched against BH8s.

Simple reason...giving out a 12 hour shield for town hall sniping didn't lead to players spending money while a broken matchmaking system will see frustrated players toss gems at it.

It's because there are far too many Free to Play players and still standing at highest level trophy range. They never spend a single cents on this game, but still could compete. In that sense, this is not an exploit just to make players pay money.

And nobody is forcing you upgrade your BH level to 8. You could play as a BH7 or BH6, that's depends on you, but in no way you could complain about the matchmaking and progress if you choose to do it.

So what is the main reason you do the versus battle? Isn't it to progress? Others are completely right in saying that upgrade to BH8 is the best way to progress and compete. Staying in BH6 or BH7 will just slow down your progress, and get pushed down again and again.

So...clearly you are at a disadvantage, right? You can return to an even playing field by simply upgrading to BH8. Finish your level 7 upgrades with the offensive power of the sixth Army Camp.
