The matchmaking is broken and Clash does not care!!!!! I get matched to BH8 90% of the time how is that fair. I have too many troops to upgrade yet before making the jump to 8. Why won't they fix the BH matching. I went from 80/20 win to a 20/80 win since you brought in BH8. GAMES SHOULD BE FAIR.

If you are winning 80/20 in the past, shouldn't you already be in trophy range 5000 and above before update? And shouldn't you already maxed your BH7 when BH8 is released and you are ready to upgrade?

The game will not be fair as long as it is progressing, upgrading game. Somebody will always be ahead of you. Factor in gems and money, you are more likely to be behind somebody than to be ahead. And with that, you are in a disadvantage position when you stays at a BH7. And the more time you wait, the more disadvantages you have.

Simple example. In BH7 have 2 Gold Mines and 2 Elixir Pumps. The production rate per hour is 6K of each resources. While in BH8 you will have 3 Gold Mines and 3 Elixir Pumps. The production rate per hour is 10.5K of each resources.

So the difference is 4.5K each resources per hour. In a day, BH8 produce more passive income of 72K resouces. That's a big difference for a month, which is 2.16 Million resouces difference. You could choose to wait SC to revamp their system, sure. Meanwhile, a lot of players are already in BH8 and having 2.16M more passive income per month.

And when you are a BH8, you will get back to winning 80/20. In a while you will reach highes trophy count and increase your loot bonus. There is really only disadvantages staying in BH7.

And the fact that so many replies about upgrade your BH also mean the game is playable and not dead. A lot people may want to see it fixed, but we all know SC will not fixed it based on their design values of the game. And lastly, good luck on you wait for SC to revamp their current system.

I seem to recall the majority of bb players thought bh8 was going to be released by Christmas and that didn’t happen. Nobody predicted a nerf to infernos, and the list goes on and on and on.

Things can change and if clash remained a static game with no changes on gameplay and design since release it probably wouldn’t even be around still.

Sure. Forumers that complain is also hardly respresenting the communities. Just check the leaderboard and check if there are any BH7 in the top 200. This top 200 represent the way to progress and compete in current system.

You could hate it, but you have no choice to play in their system. Well, of course you could also choose to wait for SC to revamp their system.

In case you missed it, below is the in depth design values of this game by SC. You could values fairness above eveything else in your preferred PVP system. But clearly is not how SC design the game.

Yeah, that's what you call selective expectation. You assume SC the game is dead when SC stated there are no plan currently beyond BH8. You trust what they said. Yet you don't trust their design values and stated things could change, otherwise the game would dead. That's not for you to say too. It would be absurd to said or assumed that.

Just play the game as it is. If you expect they change the current PVP system just because of you or other complainers regarding the system, while SC think the current system is good enough, it would be far more easier if you quit the game and go play your preferred PVP game. Sorry but Clash of Clans is not mainly PVP game.

I am matching with BH8 up here around 5200. Some I matched with are gemmers whom has more level 16 troops and more than few evel 8 defenses. I beat them too. Is not easy staying up here, is not as easy as beating BH7.

Wait until you get to 2000-3000 trophy, then it's a different story... I know because i started playing a third account not long ago. it was very quick to get to 2000 trophy then at BH6 I constantly ran into BH7 and even BH8 players. Then I upgraded to BH7 w/o maxing and still ran into maxed BH7 and BH8 opponents. I consider myself pretty skillful at BB since my two other accounts are all at 5000+ trophies.
I feel rushing can only get you farther a little bit and not much. I literally 3 starred a BH8 today.

The advantage you gain from starting late (and if you actually played from day one) is you know which troops are effective thus upgrade them first.

Bah...I’m working on disproving that with a brand new account. I started it 3 days ago; I have it up to BH4 and 1200 trophies. It will be BH5 in a few days and I should hit 2K shortly thereafter. By month’s end, it will be BH8 and shortly thereafter, in the 4K range. The only $$ I am investing are in the level-up bonus packs.

It’s just got too hard, I am BH 7 trying to upgrade my last items before going 8, but with all the opponents I am placed against already at 8 there is little chance of winning and I have seen my trophies plummet from the 3900 range to 3400, when placed against an 8 there are too many defences and when they do their attack they have one more camp of troops and it’s hard to defend against the extra troops without the defensive hardware, it has started to get boring now watching loss after loss, so it’s goodnight from me.

Guess that isn't the case now with trophy resets every season so there goes that argument. rrobert05 is right in that even when you rush to BH 8 you still aren't going to be winning. Players are better off generally maxing their defenses and at least several troop types at each bh level before advancing. This will put them in a better place in the long haul and stop worrying so much about trophies because either way they are just going to get knocked back down by opponents who outmatch them until the time comes when they have a max bh8.
