We want a diamond confirmation button

We definitely need a confirmation button! I've only been playing a couple weeks and figured it was in the settings because every other game I've ever played had a confirmation button. it was not there

I'm all for any plan that prevents accidental gem spending.

Me too. I like the original poster's option #2 the best, but I also think any of the 3 suggestions would be an improvement.

There is a recurring theme on this forum from disgruntled folks who have spent diamonds from mis-clicks/fat fingers speeding up crops and other items. I can't tell you how many diamonds I've lost when just trying to check how much longer until a crop was ready and the game interpreted it as a request to speed up production.

Similarly, I've lost coins and diamonds to inadvertant purchases from the store while trying to scroll through the options, and I guess my finger was just too close to the edge of the screen.

Would you please add a confirmation screen to all diamond usage.

I understand that there is a tradeoff between the speed and flow of gameplay and the extra confirmation screens, so perhaps you could leave it up to the player whether to turn the confirmations on or off.

I believe the general SC response is that to put a confirmation button in the game it would "interrupt the flow" of the game. I will tell you my "game flow" gets interrupted with colorful language when I speed something up like say a potato for 8 diamonds. I outdid myself on language that day. LOL

Why doesn't supercell comment on this type of request threads concerning diamonds?

Cm-on i just lost 4 diamonds in accidental speeding up production of wheat !!! And another 5 diamonds by accidentally speed getting a useless new boat order. It is real frustrating for us who toil hard for a few diamonds.

Yes, I agree that adding a "Do you really want to use diamonds" will be slowing up the game for a few persons but there are loads of other things you can implement.

Eg Requiring Double/triple tapping of the speeding up diamond button instead of accidentally swiping the button once will make life easier for all of us.

Or keeping a chest/stash to store diamonds, ores and vouchers [like the one on the fishing site.] so that accidental swiping or tapping the speedup button will open your treasure chest instead of losing diamonds. It will be really a nice addition in the game.

And for those who think these features will slow down gameplay, please add an option to disable them in the menu [like turning on or off music and sound]

Safe mode, seems like a good option.

Block useage of diamonds while in safe mode would prevent accidental clickage.

Maybe they want us to use them so we don't hoard them.

Supercell has commented on this a few times. They feel it would disrupt the flow of the game.
