    Quoting myself from another thread:

Thanks for all the feedback in this thread. This topic has been discussed all over the place (forums, Twitter, Facebook etc) and we have already taken some action - we added confirmation for Masteries and Daily Deals. Let's see how they work out and what we can do next. I doubt that we will have a confirmation button for all actions in the game as it would really ruin the flow, and trust me when I say it would get super annoying very fast (the team has played games with a confirmation popups for every action, and it became so annoying and tedious within minutes). However, never say never.
    There.

    Cheers,

Not only is the code in CoC but it is already in Hay Day. If you go to any mastery screen and tap on the "get next star now" button you get exactly the sort of confirmation screen we are all asking for.

Personally I doubt this will cause game flow problems if added to every thing else as it only appears when you tap on the relevant speed up button. However the alternative approach I proposed (as quoted by you) will solve any such problems completely.

Yes they are definitely keeping something from us that is very possible (actually it is basic computing 101 stuff!).

As soon as I see Nick online I'll make my idea known to him in the hope that he will pass it on the the Hay Day development team.

Last night after I wrote my above post I remembered where I had seen Nick write about this, I was going to edit or post again to show you where it came from. You could say its kinda funny as he wrote it in your thread-the take action one. I can't seem to find a "beaming emoji", but oh well.

I guess he was pretty clear eh?

Like I said though-I'm all for any kind of confirmation system-the one in the DD about the deal of the day-has saved me a few times. But that's all basic computing 101 stuff-way over my head.

My money that I willingly spend for some service in this game is taken for something that I do not want to spend for. And nobody asks for my consent. How would you name this? I would love to hear your opinion.

But if you claim that I can not disagree or give an opinion about something in a game that I play willingly, then I am very sorry, that won't happen again Let's all shut up and dont say anything against the things that go wrong since we are not forced to play it, therefore we deserve what we are getting. And it makes tons of sense that I touch a button by mistake and my money is just vaporized like that. But we are not forced to play hence we dont have a say when our money is gone. Love your logic

    Hi Nick,
Thanks for the quote. Please pass my idea on to the Hay Day team.

In this case, you are relieved of your willingly spent money after you execute an action in error. I name this user error. I have had a few user errors until I became more careful. Now I no longer accidentally spend coins or diamonds. Others can and have done the same.

Given your comment, I infer that you would relish with confirmation of action on every aspect of the game pertaining to monetary spending. We wouldn't want farmers to mistakenly add an animal, or buy a pile of wood, or speed up the boat, or obtain a new truck order, or open the mine, or repair the docks, or purchase a machine, or expand their roadside shop, or speed up any product, or speed up any machine being built.

I'll paraphrase what has been posted previously. Confirming every action regarding spending diamonds (or coins for that matter) will be a pain in the buttocks. It's no surprise (to me) that there have been a dozen or so releases and this has not been implemented. I don't want to confirm every spending action. I know what I'm doing.

Thank you but that's not my logic.

My logic is to stop doing what causes you to lose your willingly spent money in error.

It does put a smile on my face to see all of the requests for SuperCell to diminish the possibility for user error.

    Best wishes with that.

My diamonds are "stolen" all the time due to lack of this feature. It is VERY annoying!!! Please please add it. It will surely improve the game and proberly also your profit. I will not let my young kids buy diamonds even though they often try to persuade me. Because I know many of the diamonds will quickly dissapear.

Another argument: This "confirm feature" is in the other games I play (eg Dragonvale). It's is not at all true that is has a negative impact on the gameflow. On the contrary. You can play freely without having to be carefull not doing something wrong so your diamonds gets "stolen".

Theres no valid arguments against this feature, so please add it promptly.

    I vote a big YESSSSSSSS

I'm with all you who have voted yes as I've lost lots of diamonds this way. It really detracts from the game and there is no way I would buy any diamonds with the game like this. Time for the change to happen ! Pleaseeeeeeeeee!!
