    Lightbulb Forum Bans!

    Hi,
I was wondering how does someone get banned from Forums??
Yes, I know if someone violates Forum rules.
    1st they'll get an infraction.
3 infraction will cause a temporary ban, and 5 infractions will be a permanent ban.

So, I've seen a couple of threads(necro threads) where some of the old members were banned.

Q1- Is it like someone is inactive for a period of time (3-6-12 months) he/she will be banned?

Q2- I saw someone's profile who was banned recently. And there was no posts edited by Mods or nothing that violated Forum rules.

Q3- What else are the reasons one can get banned permanently without infractions??
(Creating second account is something I know).

I know post count #1000 gives a forum title "banned"
    Just trying to know things.

The simplest way not to get banned is to follow the rules found Here https://forum.supercell.com/misc.php?do=showrules
Other ways to be banned are having multiple accounts ,toxic behaviour, spam ( love doctors ) etc.

Any further questions or concerns please message your forum chiefs found Here https://forum.supercell.com/showgroups.php

    Kind regards
    Sneakymaori.

No, I dont think so. I was inactive for a year. I wasnt banned. It wouldnt be against any of the forum rules to be inactive.

    Hey Lady,

Re: Q2: if too inappropriate, any very negative post from a 'banned' member may not be available any more, in specific cases.
Like, discussions of bans (in game) will likely end in thread/post deletion, and membership 'revocation', hence you cannot see anything anymore on anyone's profiles related to that post, even reputation comment are gone (but points remain).

If a post is toxic enough, I'm speculating that the Mod Squad will delete it and we won't see it in the banned forumite's posting history.

Last year, I noticed a regular was banned in another subforum and I didn't see any post written recently by him which broke a forum rule. Then I realized the possibility he posted something so toxic that it was removed and he was given a permanent ban. Or he foolishly created another forum account and thought he could evade detection by the Mod Squad.

EDIT1: For those who haven't seen it yet, here's the definition of toxicity as defined by Supercell Staff:
    https://forum.supercell.com/showthre...Don-t-Be-Toxic!

EDIT2: I suggest we don't do things which ping the Mod Squad's sonar!

I think that's usually the case, so it's uncommon we can see the reason why someone was banned, it will typically have been deleted.

Yeah, if a post is toxic enough, it will go poof.

And the other scenario Could be that the member had a private Conversation between Moderators and turned into a form of disagreement and arguements and then the member acted badly with mods.
