Builder Games - March 8th - March 12th

I was disappointed when I first saw the builder only games last night. I thought I'd take a look at it again this afternoon. It's maybe not as bad as I first thought but this doesn't seem like it was well thought out. A lot of the challenges are ridiculously difficult and for not enough points. Unless you are will to keep gemming your clocktower (which I ain't doing) some tasks seem impossible.

If they gave us an extended boost during this...maybe that would work?

Ive learned a good deal since the start of the builder games. Main thing I’ve learned is how awful the ai over there is. It has the ai of a week old game.

This. I'm not using archers much since going to BH8, but considering you can put archers down in the exact same spot and have sets of them target 2 different buildings is a simple example of the AI being broken. Not to mention both archers and the BM walking past buildings to get to something else.

I did manage to find something decent...get 24 stars in 2 days for 500 points. If I can do that and maybe find something similar afterwards maybe I can contribute 1000 points to my clan by just doing the normal attacks I do anyway.

The strange thing is that it is much easier to get the 3k points if you don't care about the BB, my BH2 has racked up 3k in no time, keep the trophies low and go for % quests, almost all are 100% ties if you leave your cannon out.

I assume the same would be better even for higher level bases, drop your trophies and you will face weak opponents. Of course you have to not care about progressing your BH which seems counterintuitive to what SC is wanting!

Your example is flawed...Lets pretend you hate curling, but love bobsledding. This "builder specific games," says hey, you want some medals for bobsledding? all you have to do is win gold in curling...

I have 0 issue with there being a builder base event. Just don't pressure people to participate by adding main base rewards

It's like saying anyone can participate in clan games, but to get loot from a win you have to be in Legends league...

There is simply no way to have a BB games without having rewards that could be used in the main base. Unless the point of your post is that the BB has been neglected in the clan games and there need to be more BB specific rewards added to the clan games rewards list I am not sure what you are hoping to accomplish. Most of the rewards are just as much BB rewards as they are main base rewards. All of the books can be used in the BB. Needlessly restricting the use of a book to make it only main base or only builder base seems unnecessary. It is better that rewards be useable in whichever base you choose.

If there is any problem it is that they still don't offer BB resources as a reward option.

A BH2 only needs 1 minute to regen his army. You go in, spam troops for a quick battle, and repeat. Can easily get a battle done every minute or two.

So what your telling everyone who has a BH 6-7-8 is....

Start a brand new account -> Level it to TH6 -> Be ready for the next worst clan games..

Aka pad Supercell’s numbers. Look, dear boss man, we had a splurge of new downloads when we had the builder games going. Must be a big hit! Let’s do it again! Only this time let’s make all the challenges 1 hour long! That’ll get them to spend some of those free gems they’ve collected.
