The most amazing part of this thread is having mods and game specialist's arguing over the use of the word "forced".
Clearly nobody is holding you down "forcing" you to play the BB... But if you want to help either of your bases progress quicker then you will NEED to play these games.

I love when you guys keep bringing up this argument over and over. You're right in the sense that we are aren't being "forced" in the truest definition of that word. Would you like "pushed" better? "Urged" maybe? What about "driven?" Does that fit your story line.
Bottom line is this, if a player wants to participate in clan games, he/she has no other choice but to play the builder base whether he/she likes it or not. Considering there is another mode of play that is the reason that player likely started playing in the first place, giving only 1 option is Clan Games is ridiculous. As Viking has already stated, MANY players have some semblance of a social bond with other members of their clan and they feel it necessary to participate in Clan Games even though they don't like it and aren't being required to do so.
Every Clan Games prior to this has been fun. Players look forward to getting the rewards. This Clan Games just feels like a burden. Like work. I don't even care about the rewards. I look forward to it ending, so I don't feel obligated to participate on behalf of my clan.
So, keep cherry picking the whole "forced" part of what people are saying and ignore the fact that a large majority of people are unhappy because they want to play, but only have 1 choice in what they can pick to play.

I hope the data collected after this games encourages SC to make changes to the games. Such as separating the main and builder base quests. 12 of each quest in their own tab.
Judging by the lack of innovation we had on main base. It took you all about 1.5 years to make BB. I understand you want to protect your investment. Don't mess up a good game feature like clan games to promote BB.
Stop the quest integration and let us choose which mode to play.
IMHO, it depends on the perspective. I see it like this. It is not about this one dog. It is about a whole kennel of dogs.
If 90% of the dogs in the kennel wanted to be cats and have no problem with it, why should this one time, the kennel owner not be allowed to try this out? Its not like the kennel owner says and next time we have the same thing around.
Most dogs will listen to their owner....
