    Question 9.5 War attack videos/guides

    Hi, recently gotten back into the game as a 9.5 and am looking for up-to-date guides/attack strategies for Clan Wars.

    My guide is: add some infernos. Even post-nerf, I don't think you'll like the matches if you play with many 9.5s

    As a 9.5, do you primarily target th9's? Or will you be hitting th10's?

    Standard th9 strategies will work for th9's. However, there have been quite a few changes that have made th9's strategies viable at th10. Don't know how long you have been away. Giant bombs do not do "bonus damage to hogs anymore" and infernos do not block healing any longer. Miners at th10 were nerfed. Space was increased to 6 from 5 and th10's were not given extra camp space like th11's to absrob the space increase.

    I'm not a big video watcher on clash of clans attack strategies, but there are probably a few out there. I just watch all the war replays and take note of any seemingly amazing attack styles. Mostly I just see bowlers/healers/witches.

    @Onyx: Nah, all of my defenses are underleveled except with Level 2 Xbows. Archer towers are 9, cannons 10, wiz 6, mortar 6, max AD and Tesla, however.

    I'm not interested in dropping more defenses until I'm bored beyond belief with max offense.

    @Super: I've noticed those two changes, what is preventing hogs from being unstoppable then? I plan to hit some 9/9.5s until my heroes are above 30 (currently K23/Q27) but if I see a realistic opportunity to hit a 10 I will step up if needed to.

    Hogs work pretty good against mid to low th10's and (should be) 100% against th9's and 9.5's. Higher leveled 10's require a good bit of proficiency with Queen walks (and higher level queens). Hogs also have an additional level. Try doing some random raids with th9 style kill squad. My army comp (to start you off) is the following:

    2 golems, 10 wizards, 4 wall breakers, 12 archers and the rest hogs. Pack hogs in cc and bring 1 jump 4 heal or 1 jump 3 heal 1 rage. For war hits when I have some time to plan, I will reduce the hogs by 3-4 for extra funneling troops if needed. Sometimes if CC and AQ are reachable with one jump spell I'll drop the wall breakers and bring a few more wizards. 1 poison spell for CC and the other for larry's and enemy BK.

    Thanks, Super, I just sent golems to 5 and will not pass by hogs to 6 like I had planned to. Cheers.
