I need patch notes for trader. I want to know if he is going trade items only with gems or will see 'book for book' or 'potion for potion' options as well.

Absolutely agree people calling this update as cash grab because they implemented something that requires buying gems. Maybe people who are complaining are the ones who have been blowing up gems so far without saving..
I'm one of them, I never saved more than 500gems. I spend a lot on boosting. But when I thought about the deals and upgrades it's quite obvious that everything comes with a price. And gotta appreciate when it's a discounted price.
But, when things are coming with lower price they call it a cash grab. What do they expect?? They want everything for free??!
Often people tend to forget. It requires money to advertise, to keep the server running, feed red bull to developers to keep working. I'm assuming 10% of the clashers spend real money. Rest 90% are playing it for free. But, If those 10% stop spending, the complete 100% of people will face the issue, if the servers are shut down. They don't see it as a business they see it as SC doing a favor to everyone. In other words they are doing Charity.
In reality it's not!! It's business, and this is one of the way to make profit. That's all.

The last sentence sums it up. Absolutely SC must turn a profit, it’s a business after all. When any new update comes, there’ll always be a number who gem everything instantly. However, the trader update seems to be solely geared towards getting people to spend gems. If you don’t, then the feature seems useless. That’s the first update I’ve known like that and it saddens me.

You can by selling what you have in stock for 10 gems, then taking the free one.

unfortunately they changed the bid price from 25 to 10. No mention of THAT in the release notes.

You might wanna take a look at clash with eds latest video. All walls(300) maxed by using 245,000 gems.
If he used time of walls he could have finished it with 157,500 gems. He could have saved 87,500 gems.. that's a lot of gems..
That's how I got the perfect number of gems it takes to upgrade one wall piece.

What would you want to do with the extra gems that you got before ? Boost barracks, when the potion is cheaper ? Gem a hero, when the book is cheaper ?

I really, really don't understand why you would see an issue there, unless you want to sell the power potion because all your troops and spells are maxed in both bases. Otherwise, I see no sense in this comment.
