Yeah, Clan Games are a con as the "rewards" are pretty much worthless for the effort involved, in the same way these "offers" are a con too. Why? because for 400 gems I could upgrade 2 wall sections. Nothing special at all, just a way to spend a LOT of gems. Maybe Supercell accountants are more in charge than the programmers... (Just sayin')

So before CG were introduced, you would log in do some raids, gain loot to build your base.

Now you can log in, click a button during CG, do the same raids like before, but now you have a chance to get extra bonus rewards other then what you gain from each raid.

Please explain to me how the rewards are worthless for the effort involved, the same effort you would do anyways to progress your base.

Diffrent. Like if you are full with a potion or a book you will get a other deal.

Trader is charging so many gems
To buy 2 wall rings it cost 400 gems
Now tell me
400 gems > 1000000
So why it is causing so many gems

1000000 gold actually costs 600 gems, so "400 > 1000000" is false.

They are different and it does not seem to relate to what you already have. It also does not seem to relate to what th level your base is (but over 8 of course!). I have 2 th11 and 2 th8,they all got a different deal and for some it was a deal they couldn’t buy for being full of that already.

So they are a "con" for giving you free stuff, for just a little more playing than you might normally do.

So your walls are pretty low level then. To upgrade one wall from level 8 to level 9 would cost 600 gems.

Since clan games started, the number of gems on each of my 4 accounts has gone UP by at least 1000, so I hardly think they are a way to spend a LOT of gems.

Some of the trader items are, but then just don't buy them. Nobody is forcing you to.

Other than the occasional free training potion; the trader isn't for me. That's fine; it's no big deal, I can ignore it lol. Like the donate now feature I've never used.

Trader offered me Book of heroes for 500 gems, which I think is a great deal. I didn’t get it because I just got a book of heroes from clan games. I would definitely purchase in the future if I don’t already have a book in hand.
