Sanctuary Animals Never Sleep, Don’t Require Feeding

I am pretty sure it is not meant to be this way, however, I always forget to make hay bundles for my sanctuary animals, but I don’t like to see them hungry and sleeping.


so I have been blowing the whistle to “wake” them without feeding them.

it has now been over a week since I fed or whistled them. They don’t sleep now, ever!

i don’t mind this at all, since I always forget to make feed and some others don’t like to see them like that, however, I am sure this was not the plan.

tested it on second farm as well, all animals perpetually awake there too.

I reported this issue to in game support and yes, I did get a how to feed the sanctuary animals tutorial

i also found out that this is not a game glitch. I was told that if you don’t feed them, then they wander around “sleepy and tired”

i am finding very little difference between fed and unfed, however, I now find feeding them redundantnow. I don’t think I can go back to feeding them.

as long as they are moving around, I am happy

Thanks, WussyPuss, For letting us know about this glitch. The only drawback that I can see, for not feeding your animals, is if you like to finish achievements in the white house. One of the achievements is feeding your sanctuary animals 1500 times. My big farm has already achieved that feeding number, so I will probably stop feeding them. My baby farm still has 625 feedings to go. Thanks again for the information.

If you don't feed your animals they wander round hungry and tired. They are waiting to be fed.
