I wouldn't call it sad; OP didn't fall in debt or anything from spending money on the game, and in the end he enjoyed it, that's all that matters. Some people simply want to see their village progress, but don't want to commit masses of their time slowly farming their way up.

Everyone spends differently in real life, just look at your friends, family or your self on what you spend on. but like I said in my original thread, I cannot justify the amount I spend on something reasonable but yes it did not put a dent into my own personal life and I have no regrets. Look at an example one of my accounts for a different gaming site, it has over 500 games on it with well over 10k spend in the past 10 years(I was a game collector before)

I think that everyone is entitled to spend their own money however they chose, these forums are sadly full of judgemental people.

in the scheme of the game, $3200 is not the highest amount either.

Thisfob has done the rare thing and shown us his garming, on a site that as a whole, usually frowns upon gemming to a great extent.

but at the end of the day, if it doesn't hurt you personally, why care how much someone has spent on a game, apart from a note of curiosity?

I dropped $100 USD so far. I'm trying to view my spending habits as "if this game made revenue through a monthly subscription that I am willing to pay- at what point would I have invested $100 into this game?"

I can see the appeal to the instantaneous gratification of investing at the front end to enjoy high-end play sooner.

The screen shots are great, and show you cared how to learn to play this game in addition to being willing to gem.

Don't listen to nay sayers. Everyone plays the game they want it and we need to respect that. Some have the cash and wanna gem. Some don't and grind their way.

I love this story, i myself gemm'd to TH10 before i knew better, decided to recover without using an excess of gems (probably have spent about 300$ total) everyone also told me to start over, but now im level 76, working towards becoming equivalent to a TH8 max'd. Its a long journey, probs for putting your life out there
