I sent you a friend request. Whenever I look for stuff I always start out at the lower level farms and buy their stuff first. If you don't have what I need, I move up the levels. All I can say, which I wish I knew when I was starting out, is don't level up too fast, make money first. This way you can buy the machines and not be strapped for cash. Also, if you don't level up too fast and focus on money and expanding your barn and silo, when you have to do the boat lll, you won't get scary boats and you'll be able to do them without a problem. I did all my boats alone because I didn't know about the forum then and didn't know about asking for help. I managed because I had enough barn space, the boats were easier because I was at the lower levels and the DD had everything I needed even though I lost money and paid full price. I didn't care about that because I just wanted to get that over with.
There are lots of helpful tips on the forum however, do what feels right for you. You'll have so much fun.

Thanks all for ur warm welcome and nice tips and thanks for friend requests... Ill gladly accept! Im not sure what to use friends for in this game or at My low lvl
I sell everything at full price except eggs, bacon, wool, and crops (except fruit). I also buy most everything at full price, so I figure it all evens out. My coin level has pretty much remained the same for a while, except with the recent purchase of the three machines. If you're not trying to make a profit and build your coins up, you will have a VERY hard time buying any of the new machines or anything else you will need.

I am a daily player who loves to help, tries to keep my shop filled with goodies for neighbors, and believes in my idea of fair play: help, be helped, and don't take advantage- meaning please don't be greedy. As a rule, I don't accept nor assist with sugar or dairy boats. Other than that, we're on. ~Wendy

Friends will shop at your stand and revive your trees, at this point. I make a run through my friends' stands several times a day to see if they have something I want. Watch the tab that tells you which of your neighbors needs help. Mostly it will be boat requests, which you won't have the resources for, but also tree requests. They will also be watching and help you if you have a tree or bush needing revival.
I sell everything at full price except wheat, corn, carrots, eggs, bacon and wool. Everything else gets the max price because there's always a new machine that needs to be bought.; however, by the same token I don't mind paying full price either. On the other hand, I help boats, too, which pays below value, so it's a fair trade off IMO.
