Everything in the shop is so expensive, every new machine you buy is more expensive and hard to save all of those coins as well, it's not necessary to mention about the decorations and every 1+ deco is more expensive than the first one..So yes i am selling in full price but it's not because that i am greedy, it's because i need coins to play on.
It's hard to wait around for something you know might never happen but it's even harder to give up when you think it's everything you want

Hi Shea, as your at level 11 you won't have a lot of crop fields & probably not a massive silo/ barn.
We've all been there & your fortunate to have found this forum early in the game. And here you will find a bunch of lovely farmers who are always willing to help. Unlike myself who reached level 50 without little help & no forum.

I'm sending you a friend request , as I sell quite a few crops at v cheap prices. Feel free to buy what you want then sell it on at a higher price. This is how I made a lot of my money in the early days Happy Farming Shea

And that will be true - until hamburgers show up on a global event. Then you won't find any bacon OR wheat in the paper for a week!

If you're selling things like cream, butter, sugars, & cheese... please sell at full price! A LOT of high level farmers are looking for these types of items for boat orders and/or as ingredients for other goods. You'll probably have a few high level followers watching (stalking?) your RSS. I just wish lower levels got more money for selling these items. I needed so much coins to buy stuff. It seemed every time I leveled I had to buy some outrageous priced machine or fix something.

I wish SC would give us a second dairy machine or lower the processing time for basic ingredients. Especially when you have to fill 4 crates with 11 creams each. You know what I'm talking about people. But that's another grip for a different thread.

Good luck & happy farming Shea. You're off to a good start by joining forum. You'll find some great neighbors here!

Hamburgers!?! My grill will never be the same after all those fish burgers. Just kidding! But I do like the global events that make use of items with a bad(?) rep. Like eggs, bacon, bread and strawberries. I'm just now seeing ads with strawberries again.

I always sell at discount prices, at least 20 coins less than full price. I really reduce the price on tools, too. It takes so much coin to buy the expansion stuff that I feel good helping folks do it for less.

I too feel it's not necessary to charge full price. Young farmers need all the help they can get! If someone buys my stuff at discount to resale at a higher price, that's their business. I like the selfish satisfaction of feeling like I'm helping so many folks.

I always sell premium items all full price. I sell wheat either at 1 or 10 coins, corn at 30 or 35, carrots at 40 or 45, soybeans from 98-108 (full price,) etc. I sell pumpkins, loom products, chili peppers at discount...

But cakes, jams, jewelry, etc? I sell full price unless I am specifically helping a friend. When helping a friend, I sell either a default price or for 1 coin.

You should consider how many sales bins you have as well. If you have lots of friends, therefore lots of bins, you can afford to wait for things like eggs and eggs and bacon to sell, and so can price them higher. To sell eggs quickly, price them at suggested or default price. I sell everything but eggs at max prices because when I sell in the RRS, I am needing money to buy machines.
A good way to help without sacrificing the needed cash when you are at the lower levels is to visit friends' farms or those found in the newspaper and revive their trees and bushes. You can always pay it forward to other lower level players once you have the capacity of the higher levels.

And a question of my own. Can someone tell me how people who are not your neighbors find your stand if you haven't advertised your goods? Idle curiosity. Always glad to make sales.

They can find you if they're a follower (check follow tab) or you follow them. Another way is if you've helped them in the past with a boat order or revived their trees. Then you're on their "last helper" tab. A new way is the global event board. It shows random players that contributed and the highest contributors in the game.

I kinda wish SC would make a "Lasted person you helped" tab or a tab that allowed you to visit them back if they bought something. Or maybe a "block this user " if they are harassing you with messages in their titles and...some would say *whispers* raiding.

    Hoped this helped!

We'll it did. Thank you very much. I didn't think about the last helper tab. I'm sure that's where the, um, shhhhh, (raider) found me. I hope they come back. Often.
