Net maker or jam machine?

I am desperately saving coin and very broke. Which should I do first: jam machine or net maker? Guess I'll be waiting on that third smelter!!! :-)

Of course you should buy the jam maker first because the boat will ask for jams and you won't need net maker until level 44 because it's useful to catch lobsters but if you wanna catch fishes with a net, it really takes too long..So don't hesitate and buy the jam maker

Personally I would say jam machine. Get that running and its easy to keep it running and clock the hours towards the mastery. Once the mastery is finished it will help in producing jams.

As for the boat. If you can make lobster products and jams your boat could ask for both products.

Go for jam maker and let it work non stop. Jam maker was easy to master, I didn't even notice how long it took I just kept it running. Filling boat crates with jams give decent XPs and you can always sell them at highest price through DD or your neigbors.

I'd go with jam maker too. With how long it takes to produce a jar of jam, you can keep it running all hours of the day/night and boat orders will ask for jam too. That will be the best plan to go.

With the net maker, I didn't even really use it until most of the fishing spots were open. That was when I got to level 40.
