- "Reply with quote" let you quote only one post.
- The "quote" + (the sign you are referring to) let you quote multiple post in your reply. Click on it then a blue check apprears. Check all the post you want to quote then click "Reply to thread" button at the bottom of the page, all previous post is quoted and you can reply to each one in only one post.
You can test it on this thread.
Don't be, took me a looong time to figure it out although I'm quite familiar with digital life. My latest discovery is how to switch from text to source code.
Thank you sooooo much Spottydog for asking this question

Yes, what is source code? Am I going to regret asking?
You are welcome! Very good example on how to multi-quote.
As for your question, the code I refer to is BBCode, used in forum to display image, link, change text colour, fontsize.. and much more. It is similar to HTML code used to design web page.
The code for this
isThis is an example.
I add space after the "[" sign to prevent it from being interpreted by the page.Code:[ QUOTE][ COLOR=#0000ff]This[/COLOR] [ B]is[/B] [ SIZE=3]an[/SIZE] [ FONT=century gothic]example[/FONT].[/QUOTE]
If one is familiar with BBCode, sswitching to source code can help editing table much more easier.
