I am in one of the Greedysupercell clans...it is not about winning...it is about getting noticed...it is about showing unity across the game and the clans; it is about having to pay exorbitant prices for gems to upgrade or even be competitive. Most do not know that other countries pay different prices for gems based on their market and some pay less than half of what others do. It is not about saying SuperCell shouldn't make money...it is about saying that they are going for ridiculous profit margins at their gamers expense. The game reaches a point where you will never be able to attack without taking a loss on your resources in order to win trophies...the Pyrrhic victory they have mentioned other places in the forums...where you win, but you still lose...

I know buying gems is always a choice...

I have studied this game a lot and played it extensively. For all the developers do right...they keep adding to the necessity for players to buy gems if they have any sort of competitive spirit. I appreciate all of the opinions posted on this subject...good and bad...this is a forum and that is what this is about...so i never take it personal. But unless you have walked in someone else's shoes...why not have an open mind?

We want to improve the game for EVERYONE...not just the top clans and players....everyone being able to compete makes the game more fun for all...

People should be backing you on this. It's nothing bad what you guys are doing and if anything people should be happy that you guys are standing up for the COC community.

I have suggested that same idea of non-gem able heroes the day after the heroes update. Good try though..

This is all about healthy game economics for future of the game.

If no gems on Heroes / Dark Exilir happened, these greedysupercell clans might not ever have existed. SuperCell introduce real game achievements that cannot be purchased.

This whole thing screams ignorance... Calling a company greedy for being successful? That's the point. Why they created this game.
You claim they are stealing your money? No you are giving it to them. They don't force you to pay, you guys force each other to pay. While supercell sits down and grind. They created a perfect environment for competitive gamers to pay.
You guys are angry because you spent loads of money and aren't as satisfied as you thought you would be. You should know the fun is in the journey and not the destination. You're ashamed of yourselves for wasting so much money. Should be angry at each other and yourselves not spc.
If anything I think they should raise the price of gems and make more money. That's the whole point of a company. Good for them. Supercell is no more greedy than you players that are greedy for trophys and status in a virtual cell phone game.

But you cannot deny the fact that this game is impossible to be a top player without spending large amounts of money.
