We just kicked 2 leechers. Simple solution. Replace them with active members who want to contribute. Not a huge deal.

Leaving the forums, not quitting the game.
Again there already exists a tool for that. Go to your CC and remove. This can be done by the actual account holder.
Why should anyone other than the owner (SC) or the account operator (the single player on the account) be able to manipulate said base?
What's next? Shall they give the clan leader the keys to actually play any base in his/her clan?

The resistance to it is probably a backlash against the numerous and increasingly absurd threads and posts regarding the situation. Honestly, how could you take a person who starts screaming "Socialism" or "Real life job" even remotely seriously when the discussion is about a cellphone game? It's ridiculous.
Also, there's a group of people who don't really understand why such a tool is even necessary. Just run the clan as you see fit.
In truth, I'm not entirely opposed to it, but the conversation has gotten pretty comical.
I agree with Nuitari. These discussions have become pretty absurd.
No. The leader cannot and shouldn't be able to.
Why should someone other than me be able to access my account and change things?
What's next? Should the leader be able to move one of my Archer Towers because he doesn't like where it is? Maybe change my army comp or cancel my upgrades?
Holy smokes.

I am actually not opposed to more control overall for leaders and co-leaders. However when you talk about wanting more powers you need to consider whether the overall impact would be more drama and anger amongst the player base or less. Personally I think the mass of very poor or inexperienced leaders out there would cause a massive furore (deleted original word) if they were able to access other players CC's, stop participating players getting rewards or arbitrarily set clan game targets.
If the event is a clan wide event then in my view the rewards are clan wide. If you manage the clan well and manage your roster well then the odd player who does not participate as much as you might like will not make or break your clan games. Managing the clan games badly could easily break your clan.
