Billie....wheat grows in 2 minutes. Each plot you harvest youbget 2 wheats and 1 experience point (the blue star you see as you harvest)

plant 30, in two minutes you harvest 60, plant 30 again and you have 30 in the silo. Two minutes layer harvest 60, plant 30 again, and you have 60 in the silo.

If you would harvest 30 plots continuously for an hour you would have 900 wheat and 900 experience points. Keep glong with the planting and harvesting of those 30 plots and you will have what you need for your boat.

Also keep in mind, for every 50 to 60 fild plots you harvet, you will get a shovel, tnt, a saw, or an expansion item.

Repeated planting of wheat and then harvesting with the intent of getting the goodie that pops out of the field every 50 to 60 harvested plots is called "wheating" . I swear by it. If you want to know more about it, go to the stuck threads at the top of the forum, find the one with guide in he title and then look for he topic of "wheating" inside.

Sounds like a great day to me. That's great that you expanded your barn so a big WOO HOO for you. Glad to hear that this thread has helped you out. I've never heard the term "Gregging" so could you enlighten me on the meaning?!

I was reading a thread on the forums earlier tonight where someone was talking about wheating and while they were wheating they were also Gregging. Gregging is visiting Gregs farm...finding the red box...and either collecting the item or if locked - using the click off the box (not the X) to close it then returning to your home farm. You can immediately go back to Greg's farm and do it over again collecting and re-collecting the goodies from the box.

for this 'wheating', does it only apply to wheats? or any other crops too?

You can do it with other crops as well but its easier with wheat since it only takes 2 minutes to grow.

Some people also corn as that grows in about 5 minutes. Since i need a combo of wheat and corn to make chicken feed i do a combo of both.
