Yeah, it has been a while. I'm playing a TH6 and a TH8 alt, so I have some idea, but I haven't played T7 in a while. As a guess I'd say 1200. Start there and move up or down as seems fit.

Nice guide! just designed my TH9 Shuriken.
Hi Hannibal. Question, I am TH10 with everything maxed out except walls are half Lvl 8 and 9. I loved the base of Richard which was posted in your thread where you provided comments to all base postings, so I'm modeling from that. But I notice Richard has no inferno towers; I have 2 fully maxed. In that same base, where would u place the 2 inferno towers? Last question, where is it best to place my highest level walls, on the interior, exterior or somewhere else?
Thanks.
Hi Robert. First, if you don't mind linking the base plan you're thinking about, I'll take a look.
Regarding walls, there are a few different considerations.
One school of thought is that you should place them outermost since the outer walls are the ones most likely to be encountered by an attacking army. This offers the most "bang for the buck" for each wall upgrade. Going against this, bear in mind that outer walls are also easiest to target with wallbreakers. Since wallbreakers have less granular break points to destroy walls (ie.: pink through skull is all just two level five wallbreakers) you arguably lose the benefit of the upgrade when it's easily hit by a wallbreaker.
Bear in mind also that not every wall tile in your base is of equal importance. Junctional wall tiles (where walls intersect) are arguably much more important as they allow access to more chambers than a non-junctional tile.
I personally tend tend to prioritize junctions and "high value" chambers (DE or town hall) for my wall upgrades. I'll concede that sometimes aesthetics are also a consideration.

Thanks Hannibal. Will post my base for you later today when I'm done with my redesign. Your threads are very helpful. Thanks.
Hi Hannibal. Here's a few photos to cover all angles. All comments would be appreciated. Am fairly new to the game, so still unclear on whether I'm a "Farmer" or a "Trophy Hunter". I do know I like blowing away other farms. All thoughts would be great, thank you. Rob
Also Hannibal, could you look at the placement of my X-bows and storage for elixer and gold and tell me what you think please? Thanks
Hannibal- I'm excited to hear your comments. Thanks.
At 1700 trophies you're in farming range although your defenses and level 40 heroes would probably allow a much higher trophy range. Personally I'd probably rework that design. The core is too small to accommodate everything that should be central.
