[One And Only] Special Lunar New Year Obstacle 2018

Is frustrating. I feel like I have a lot of room left on my fringe to spawn obstacles and the day they announced the lunar event I set up my typical spawn base. This morning I had 0 lunar obstacles. Fearing I might miss out I edited my spawn base to give obstacles an extra tile inside the fringe and about 30 minutes later I had an ugly firecracker spawn with half of it on my map, and half off the map. Very annoying, but glad I at least have that. Here’s hoping I get a tree too.

Just removed some of my old dupes will see if it frees up and spawns a tree and a fire cracker

I had 29 special spawns deleted it down to 20 basically left no more then 1 type per side.

After deleting some of my special items I just had a tree spawn. Was that the reason? The world may never know. However it did spawn just a few hours later.

I doubt the spawn chance changed. Tbh, I've always recalled gaining obstacles AFTER the actual date. Like for Christmas I only started getting trees until after Xmas.

Some of my clanmates have more than seven or eight already and only have 1 firecracker. Not cool! I have enough space for them to spawn but the rate is just too slow for me. I don't know how the algorithm is working this time. Shouldn't it be same for everyone?

I finally got my fortune tree just now, and yesterday I got 2 firecrackers.

Still doesn’t make any blooming sense as to why some have 5 trees and 6 crackers while others have jack squat. Tree envy is not a pretty sight! I’ve got goblins running around with axes atm.
