keeping in mind the current spawning rate for th11s with more than 45 obstacles, i was thinking about making my base little more compact maybe 1,2 tiles lesser from the edge, would that increase my chances of spawning? (am not really sure it matters)

Fireworks seem to be spawning now in my clan...not a single tree tho. What’s the problem with trees?

I don't have any either. I'm getting worried. I thought the number of special obstacles you have do not count toward the max obstacles allowed. Please advise as I do not want to miss out on these ones.

I had sooo many special obstacles. I just killers a few so I don’t run out. Trying to keep all the ones grown on the side though b

Sorry, just a member here trying to help: today SC staff and some mods have meetings in Finland, and based on a discussion with a mod, and a reply from the support team: there was an issue with the obstacles, and there are actions ongoing to resolve these. Whether the solution was applied in yesterday’s maintenance is unknown so far. We all hope to know more shortly.

I doubt the spawn chance changed. Tbh, I've always recalled gaining obstacles AFTER the actual date. Like for Christmas I only started getting trees until after Xmas.

I find the lack of an official response from supercell rather troublesome, almost like they just don't care...

Sure just assume that because after 6 whole hours they didnt personally respond to you, they dont care.

I have two bases that i keep obstacles clear of everything but specials, and i dont keep anymore than 3 each. I have both the tree and fireworks in both villages, and several fireworks i'll have to remove.
