I am a town hall 7 and where I'm at right now 950-1000 the loot is terrible. I just blew off 100k searching for a match. And I'm just town hall 7. Should I try sub-200 or not? If not then where should I go? What army comp should I use if I go sub-200

Personally I wouldn't at th7 - that should be the land of plenty with regular raiding. Try a little higher first maybe? If u do go down, use mostly gobs with a few giants as meat shield and a few wbs for when u need to penetrate to the centre of a base

This was my money cow at TH8. Went down as TH9 and it wasn't even slightly as profitable, I can't imagine it being very good at TH10

No, I doubt it could beat BArch etc at 1500. The thing with th10 though is that the loot is pretty awful and the bases you have to beat to get it are increasingly impenetrable or expensive to max. That's why it becomes a valid choice at TH10, in my opinion.

Zero trophies is great for TH7 and 8…I was getting 3-5000 gold per goblin down there every single time. BUT…you have to stay on for a long time to make it worthwhile when you factor in the time it takes to drop to that level + the time it takes to climb back up through the region where there is next to no loot. It's no picnic…but is worth it in the right circumstance.

But if you have a day where you just want to farm the lights out of it…..drop to zero trophies and train all gobs. There are collector bases there where you can take 80-100k in gold and elixir with 20 gobs repeatedly. You may want to have 3-4 giants and 4-5 WB in your camps for the odd base where that's needed just to make it the most efficient.

No doubt this helped me max skull walls at TH8 faster…

Yeah my TH is outside my walls, only had a little stolen from me with dragon attacks while air defense was upgrading. I just spent 5m on xbow upgrade and working today to get another 5m for the other lol

Are you talking about using an army to raid the good bases?

Is "traditional" sub 200 farming with gobs still viable?

Plus, if you absolutely must go off, it only usually takes me about 10 min to go back down from about 350-400.

sub 200 has to be archers and goblins only since u have to stay permanentely online so u need fast troops

After doing this for a few days i think its best suited now for TH8
