🐟 😢 My Fishing Booster Fled

I just filled the last booster boat that had arrived before the event ended. I didn’t realise my booster storage was exclamation mark (!) full...well I “knew” but it didn’t click. My boat sailed off and my fishing booster flew into the air and...did not land in my storage.

The really sad part is that it was the only booster that I got in the event that I wanted and the thing filling the booster storage included an Ernest booster which I never use and those crop boosters for crops that never seem to come during my derbies or have relatively short growth periods anyway. sigh

Maybe instead of just losing a booster like that in cases where it looks as if it is possible to get the booster, there can be an option to purchase it. Perhaps even a warning on the exclamation mark that “You will not be able to buy or store any more boosters”. Really it would be a reminder. Like I said, I saw the mark, it just didn’t click.

I’m heading back over to my Fish-boosterless farm now (sniff).

I still got them when my storage was full and I was able to use the trash option.🤔

I think it happens on the fourth or fifth ‘unresolved’ booster - I’ve had the exclamation mark once you have more than 3 boosters that haven’t gone into storage or been swapped yet. Once you pass that, I think they disappear.

I don’t know if storage itself is limited - I’ve had more than 10 in storage so far (yes, lots of diamonds to do that, yuck - but it was worth it as they were crate and Tom boosters and some nice 5 Star machines so I couldn’t part with them) and I think as long as you’re willing to spend the diamonds you can store them forever.....but they don’t want you leaving them un-distributed in the booster basket.

I do really wish, and will write for the umpteenth time someone on this forum has said so, that when first receiving a booster your options were not just Store or Swap - but Store - Swap - Activate. Please.

Yes guys, it was a hard lesson to learn but at least now we know. I’ve spent (too many) diamonds storing boosts before. I’ve just become more selective. I would nevertheless have happily paid for that one. C'est la vie.

Sadly, it’s unlikely to happen, Dove - at least not in the near future. The boosters are a revenue generator. [This is not meant as a criticism. Merely stating a fact.] Once SC realised that I - and countless others obviously - were willing to buy the boosters that one time, they saw the potential.

If we are allowed to choose between your very practical options, there wouldn’t be a need to store the boosters using diamonds.

All that said, SC has modified aggressive revenue makers before - calling the boats comes to mind. Perhaps they will increase the “free storage” number especially as they’ve added all those new boosters. So many! I’ve learnt from the ditches/pathways pain (still hurts a little) that they are unlikely to revise the cost of storing the boosters - neither the method nor the value of the increments although a nice surprise in that department would be most welcome and much appreciated.
