A good anti-hog design try to divert hogs from going to the core to going around the core where all the traps are set.     A skillful player would still be able to win if he knows how to spam hogs better

    I didn't think so before, but with this upgrade I DO feel that hogs are balanced. Slight nerf to HP, traps upgradeable and people getting accustomed to their ways.

    I have a TH9 anti hog base. The funny thing is that I now hold off hogs fairly easy even at TH9 - BUT, I am rather vulnerable to OTHER types of attacks.

    I dont think the hogs are OP anymore, in fact, I think they are pretty balanced. Mine are lvl 5 and i use 20 per raid. In order to keep attacking, i need to find bases with at least 1000 de to loot. Most bases with that much de are relatively strong th9. This is what hands my butt to me on a hog raid:

    an an upgraded archer queen that i cant lure out
    lvl 3 dragon in the cc
    lvl 6 archers and lvl 5 wizards ithe cc
    spring traps placed next to the strong defenses (xbows and teslas). They work best next to teslas cuz of their small size
    lvl 3 xbows
    air defenses in the interior of the base (I use healers with the hogs... If the hogs cant get to the air defense quick, their life support is gone).

    Just a a couple things that get me on hog raids. There are more, but I dont want your bases gettin harder

    Just leave the hogs alone, they already been nerfed twice, thats enough. If they get nerfed anymore they will become just another waste of dark elixir
