    That can be done quite easily (referring setting two giant bombs trap against hogs) with the right base design. All you need to do is design a base that make your hogs go in a certian path then funnel them into the bombs which is surrounded by walls and non-defensive buildings from one side and by high hp defensive buildings from the other side (like xbows, inferno towers, air defense, cannons) and it will work like a charm.

    I've done that with my anti-hog base, check signature for pictures and videos.

    I've successfully defended a number (around 5-6) of hog attacks so far in my cup hunt and I'm TH9. Current traps work well, especially spring traps and level 3 giant bombs. The game is not designed to give you a sure way of countering a certain tactic/unit. It gives you the necessary resources to do so, and it's up to the players to work with it. That's what separates the average and the great. It's a strategy game afterall.

    Leave the hogs stats and make heal spell work half strength on hogs easy fix

    Undo the last 2 nerfs on hogs.
    Reduce speed from 24 to 20.
    Increase cost to 100 DE at lvl5 (x2)

    Edit: reduce CC radius by 5 squares.

    watch the vidoes or even better, test it before making comments like these

    haven't lost a hog attack since I switched to V2 of this base except when TH was outside I got one starred only.

    in my clan few people using it Th9s and TH10 and all defense replays confirms what I'm claiming

    not sure what you mean, I'll try to sum what happens though

    after luring cc and heros and killing them. The attacker usually spam hogs in one point (so they stay in one group and heal spell would work better). A good anti-hog design try to divert hogs from going to the core to going around the core where all the traps are set. Funneling those hogs into spring traps and giant bombs to weaken them as much as possible and consume all the heal spells so when they reach the core they would die trying to take out the highest hp defensive building while high dps defenses hit them hard

    A skillful player would still be able to win if he knows how to spam hogs better
